RicoPan Bakery And Cafe

I was in a rush this morning and decided to DoorDash breakfast from Rico Pan Bakery and Cafe. As a Colombian, I always jump at the chance to have some pan de bono, so I was excited to try this place for the first time. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations.I ordered a pan de bono, buñuelo, arepa de choclo, and a croissant de jamón y queso. The highlight of my order was definitely the pan de bono, it was light, airy, with a crispy outside and perfectly cheesy inside. The buñuelo was also quite good, similar to the pan de bono but fried, which gave it a satisfying taste.However, the arepa de choclo and the croissant de jamón y queso were disappointing. The arepa lacked flavor, to the point where it felt like I was eating nothing. As for the croissant, I couldn't finish it. It had a very unpleasant taste, almost like something was stale inside. I have a feeling that either the cheese or ham may have been expired, as the taste was off and definitely not what it should have been.If I order from here again, it'll just be the pan de bono and buñuelos, but I'll probably steer clear of the other items.

This makes one of the best pandebonos. So good! Nice staff in the kitchen. Simple place. Clean.

I came in Rico Pan Bakery for a breakfast takeout between my morning workout sesh and getting ready for work. I picked up an empanada de pollo colombiana, arepa con queso, and pandebono. The service was FAST, receiving my order right after I paid. I love the texture of the pandebono as you sink your teeth through it. The arepa con queso had corn kernels in it which I love and tastes fresh. The empanada de pollo colombiana was nice and crispy in the outside and tasty. However, I'd prefer to have more chicken in the filling inside. It's a mixture of chicken and potatoes.I share some of my goodies with my husband he also loved the treat! I can't wait to visit and try more things!

Thought I'd find a back up to my fave spot in Orlando but unfortunately this won't be it. The staff was nice. The bakery was pretty bare. The pan de bono... I've had better.The chicken empanada was disappointing, more potato than chicken.

The setting: hole in the wall bakery, family run. I'm not an expert in Columbian bakeries but this felt pretty authentic. No English spoken here so if that intimates you you might want to go elsewhere. If you don't speak Spanish, the lady behind the counter was very sweet and between hey very broken English and my broken Spanish, we communicated. With the effort.The casava rolls were very tasty. I also got a Cuban sandwich which was lacking the pickle slice but otherwise very good. The coconut clusters were good but too dry or old. Not sure which but the flavor was got albeit too sweet. Unless you are eating solely on Disney property, stay seat from the awful chains on tourist avenue and try some local stuff. You can eat mediocre chain food in anytown USA (though I'm not sure why you want to eat that stuff to begin with but that's another topic).

After seeing other coffee places closed in the afternoon, my family and I tried theirs. I wouldn't recommend going there for coffee, but the pastelito de guyaba was delicious.

Best Colombian bakery in town, hands down. The breads are so fresh and whenever I'm in the Kissimmee area I have to load up on breads with cheese, empanadas and some freshly made Café. Love my home town !

We stopped by in the way to the mall here and it was a great choice. We got the Pandebono , Roscón de guava, Pan dulce and a croissant Jamón y queso. Everything was delicious and the service was fast. There was a little line but it went quick. There is a small area to sit and eat if you like. The ladies were nice and answered all the questions I had. Will definitely be back.

I ask for a lunch that was $10.50 and two pandemonios $1.90 each that will be total of $ $14.40 plus tax 7% total $1.16 so they add $1 dollar to the total charge to my card $16.56 instead $15.56 when I called to complain the person behind theline said that the lunch wasn't $10.50 sorry she said was $11.50. For my opinion they do that wi all their customer? For me is not the value of the $1 dollar is the advantage that the take when the customers pay.

The coffee is amazing because it's made to order. Everything else I ordered tasted old and like it had been sitting for days which is crazy cause you expect fresh food in a bakery early in the morning.
