Rice And Beans

This is 1Of the best Cuban sandwiches I have ever had. The bread was like a kings Hawaiian roll. Meat was so tender and tasty. I should have bought another one for the road and eat it tomorrow. Place is small and has a line but worth it. I'm in Ocala and I will drive back down there for this sandwich. Service was good for how busy they were. Just take your food over to the bar next door called tidal brewery and eat it. Comings back over and over. WOW

Love, love, love the food and staff!! Such a low-key place but they are crushing the flavors and value. The portions are huge - easily 2 meals and the prices are very reasonable. They are serving up real food made in house from scratch. The roasted pork is amazing! The same with the red and black beans, tostones, shredded chicken, pigeon pea yellow rice, tres leches. Seriously, they kill every dish we've had!

Food is always delicious. Empanadas are very tasty . Quick polite service. Kids love the imperial rice dish.

The food is classic salty Spanish.The service is excellent .Small town, hole in the wall vibe.Warning: if you are salt intolerant...Otherwise great place for well seasoned traditional Spanish food.

I pleasantly enjoyed my experience at Rice and Beans. The ladies behind the counter provided quick and efficient service and helped me decide what to choose. i decided on the empanadas. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible service! The staff is always preoccupied with other customers while taking your order so obviously they are messing up your orders. also, when they screw up your order, that you realize AFTER getting home, they do absolutely NOTHING to make it right. usually arguing with you making it seem that it is your fault that they either forgot something or didn't make it correct. AND they expect you to actually drive all the way back and if it's late, on the following day! seriously??? After enduring argument from the server, i asked to speak with the owner and of course, she didn't even bother calling back! Also, most Latin places include rice and beans as ONE side but not this place, honestly the food is not that great for the hassle.

I used to eat here all the time once or twice a week. But the service has gotten so bad I am done going there. The people who work there are down right disrespectful. Very sad because I used to enjoy it but unless you have 20 minutes to watch the employees walk around while you wait and then be rude to you when you order don't bother going there

Beef Enpanada was delicious. Service Was Great. Quick Service. Atmosphere Was Chill.

Delicious authentic food. Love their pork and tamales! They have really great plantains as well. We live ordering from them because their portions are very generous as well.

Came here for lunch and this place was hopping. Everything we ordered was so good!! The staff were so friendly, answered questions, let us taste test a couple of items and didn't blink when I said "surprise me" for a side choice :)Empanadas were . Cuban tacos and tamale were both exceptional.
