Renardo Family Produce

This family-owned produce stand has been around for over 50 years! The spot used to be a garage (there are vestiges of it if you look around) of a grandfather or something, from what I was told. The price is not necessarily cheaper than big supermarkets, and the presentation definitely can't compare, but we LOVE coming here, because the warm, cheerful service and excellent expertise you receive here is something you'll never find in big stores.Not to mention that we enjoy supporting local businesses, and this place carries not only local produce, but stuff made by other small, local producers, such as honey, jams and baked goods. They have toe jam and frog jam too, definitely will pick up some once I go low on the current supply. One time we asked about a product which they sold out off, and the lady kindly offered to call the producer to get some delivered the next day.

I'm so glad I found this awesome produce stand. I wish I'd had known about it sooner! The selection and quality is amazing! Best tomatoes I've found in the Pinellas County area. I'm sad they are going on vacation Aug & Sept but I'll be right back in October when they reopen. Five stars!
