Raccoon's

We have been patronizing your establishment for many years. I regretfully inform you that I will never set foot inside your doors again. Your new bouncer/ doorman was extremely rude when we tried to enter tonight. One person in our 50+ year old party did not have an ID so he denied us entry. After his aggressive tone I will admit we lost our temper as well. However that does not excuse his behavior. But when someone threatens to fight you and then threatens to call the police on you what is to be expected. So I must say goodbye to our friends Michael, Kathy, Rob, Christine, Steve and Paige which we have grown to love over the years.

What a shit show, my wife and I went here a couple weeks ago and because we had a prior arrangement some of the imbred crayon eaters started talking aggressive with my wife because she looked beautiful, and then tried to start a fight with her. My wife is ex military and an active MMA trainer, didn't work out well for the local jokal, but we will never go back

I have tried it twice and both times regretted it due to all of the smoke. Remember the days of "smoking or non-smoking?" - well this is all smoking.My companion even mentioned that her beer tasted "smoked"Okay - so you get the idea, smokey biker style bar and I have no idea on the food - Hopefully BBQServers were all polite, but you could tell they knew we were not regulars

All that you need to know:1) Yes, it's a loud dive bar full of locals, who are mainly there to support local music/bands. It gets crowded and extremely smoky (the only reason I won't give it a 5 - PLEASE consider going smoke free). But, the service is fast and the crowd friendly. I'd rather hang out with loud friendly bikers than hipsters in a SOHO champagne bar any day. :) Local IPAs are a bit pricey. 2) Get the beer cheese & pretzels. I don't know what's in it but I dream about that cheese!

Great wing and happy hour specials. Staff is quick and knowledgeable. This is a smoking establishment, which is posted on the door, so I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by this. If you want great wings and small town blue collar feel Raccoons is a win.

Always a great time at Raccoon's. The staff is awesome, and best live music venue around!!
