This is a bit away from me, but this small corner store is a find that takes me back to my childhood. Besides the flavorful soda choices there is a hot food to-go area in the corner. The fried chicken will give major establishments a run for their money. This trip I got some fried gizzards and IYKYK! It's not a brightly lit 7- eleven or Circle K but it lacks in aesthetics it makes up for in customer service and that chicken.

I've been coming here since I was a little boy. My mom used to wash laundry next door. This place has the best fried chicken gizzards and chicken livers ANYWHERE hands down. The gizzards are always clean and crispy. The livers are nice and tender, fried just right with a great smooth taste.Aside from that the rest of there food is awesome. My little boy loves the Mac and cheese. The fish and fried chicken are great.Overall I've been coming here 30+ years and love it every time.

Best fried chicken, fried chicken gizzards, bbq and hot wings in the city. I was raised on it, still good as day one, and it will get you full for 5 bucks ‼
