I LOOOOVE this place! Service is fast - whether it's to-go or dine-in. Their staff is always kind and helpful, and they're incredibly friendly! The building is small and parking can get sticky, but the wait never gets too long for a table. I recommend getting to-go if it gets busy - the food travels well. The food and the coffee is typically excellent. I always go for pupusas, because I'm a creature of habit, and they're never a disappointment. Their prices have increased over the years, but it's still very reasonable for what you get!

Tasty. We enjoyed pork with plantain, a chicken tamale and a variety of pupusas. I liked how the pupusas came with a generous amount of lightly dressed shredded cabbage!

The food was alright but the delivery was something else. They gave us food on Togo plates. It was just surprising. My flan had plastic inside it :/

Really enjoyed Pupuseria. Came here on a Friday afternoon as the father-in-law was craving some home cooked food; he's Salvadorian. We read the reviews and decided to give it a shot.Atmosphere:- Exactly what we expected. Authentic setup with lots of décor representing the types food served. They play classic music and the vibe overall is warm, inviting, and fun.Service:- The service is good. We've both eaten here and taken food out and had strong service each time. When we called in our order is ready when we arrived and everyone we dealt with was very nice.Food:- The food is very good and at unbelievably reasonable prices.- Pupusas are good with a few varieties and what you'd expect in terms of flavor. We had some leftovers and they heated well the next day.- The chicken quesadillas was delicious. - Steak and onion with a fried egg was perfectly cooked and had tons of flavor.- The maduros were sweet and came with a delicious sauce.- The flan is outstanding; one of the best we've ever had.- Overall, not only is the food priced right, but it's simple food with lots of flavor. We plan to come back here; just wish it was a little closer!

Just recalling my meals here motivates me to drive over to Tampa to order them again. The food is simply delicious. One time I ordered the wrong thing and was still blown away by how tasty it was! (#24 if you're wondering: flour tortilla with beans, cheese, and sour cream.) Dine in or carry out, I have a feeling you'll be really pleased.

A pleasant little place with satisfying, cheap food! This was our first time trying el salvadoran food, so I was really excited. While it was good, it didn't blow my mind though. I got the masitas (fried pork chunks) with tostones, while my partner got the combination plate with steak, refried beans, rice, a tamale, cream, and a pupusa. I am conflicted with the masitas, some of the pieces were some of the best fried pork I ever had, while some of them were just okay, if not a bit tough to chew. The tostones however were all perfect, deliciously crispy and I would definitely come back for them again. My partner said the tamale was his favorite, but overall everything was just okay.In terms of the vibe, I loved the inside of this little place, it feels like a cute little latin-style diner. If you're looking for a quick bite with great value, I would give this place a try!

This is a great place for breakfast. I had a craving for baleadas, and so I made the drive up to West Tampa. I called in my order ahead of time, and everything was ready when I walked in the door.I had a baleada with carne (tortilla filled with beans, crema, cheese and steak) and a cafe con leche. The total was less than $13 with tax and tip. The baleada was a full-sized flour tortilla, filled with refried beans and some cheese, beans, and a healthy amount of steak, then grilled. It isn't quite a quesadilla as the main ingredient is the beans, not the cheese. But it held together still, so I could drive and eat. The steak was tender and well-seasoned. The cafe con leche was perfect.I look forward to return to try out the pupusas and other Central American dishes.
