Publix

Our home store Publix in Tarpon Springs. Always so nice to walk in here, the store is always clean, well stocked, and organized. The Deli is the straight bizness....makin amazing pub subs for our days out on the water, or even if we're just grabbing some popcorn chickens or wings to go. Why four stars? Well you pay about 30% more than the other grocery stores, unless you're getting their BOGOs, which are pretty awesome. They are always rotating so if we're not getting a BOGO we're trying not to by there due to the delta. I mean come on, its 2024....everything is more expensive (and no, its not a particular person's fault...Publix is always a little 'spensibe :)

their hot deli is the place for you greasy deep fried cod. I mean greasy & soggy they won't even give you tarter sauce or ketchup for the potato wedges. I was told what aisle to buy then in. I thought this was a take away Neal. Guess not. The ocra w tomato tastes like the cani was so hungr and still so disgusted by the food but mostly the young dark haired server who said no we do not give condiments who ever sells fish & chips w no tarter sauce or ketchup. Nasty , Nasty food & attendant PLUS. I was told the Neal was $6.59 But I was charged $7.91 just to throw it away!!BUYER BEWARE!!Never going back there for groceries or anything!!!

NEVER use Publix Tarpon Springs for prescriptions unless you are willing to call MULTIPLE times AND hear a different explanation EVERY call only to be told after FOUR days that they're unable to get the medication your doctor prescribed. The medication in question is for HIGH BLOOD pressure. It is readily available everywhere else.

Called to cancel an appointment with pharmacy and was on hold for 10 minutes. When someone does finally pickup she takes another two minutes asking me questions to tell me she has to transfer me. She promises they will pick right up. Stayed on hold for another 5 minutes, had to hang up. Worst organized Publix I have ever had to deal with.

I called the Publix deli tonight and ordered 20 of the naked hot wings. These do not have any breading on them and that's why they call them naked. The very nice woman told me they would be ready in 30 minutes. I came up to the deli counter and gave my name and a nice man went and brought them out for me. These wings are perfect! Publix has the best naked hot wings anywhere. The price is nice too!

Everytime I need a cake I go to Publix! I love the raspberry white chocolate. But I recently got the chocolate for a birthday and it was delicious! Their cakes are always mosit and made fresh. They also decorate them beautifully and they are always a crowd pleaser!

Publix!! The best grocery store in Florida! Always clean and the staff so friendly. I am always able to find what I want (and, guess, what? Always leave with more than I went in to get).Employees are always so friendly and offer to help me to my car with my groceries (even though I look perfectly capable of handling it on my own) -- still, they ask :)Publix was not a grocery option when I lived in Indiana so I'm glad I have this excellent store just down the street from my home here in Florida!Thanks, Publix!

My deli meat always comes with either dirt or some other kind of meat mixed in which is black or dark brown flakey substance. Either you are not cleaning of your work tables correctly or you dropping my food on the floor. Higher some people that take pride in there work!

This is my Go-To Publix. It's 3 miles from home, and smaller format than some of the stores in the area. It's got everything I need , everything I want. I love their fresh fruit and veg section and of course I LOVE their bakery! The employees are always polite, willing to help out when you need them.

If I could give this pharmacist no stars I would. The Publix pharmacist here at this location is aweful. She wouldn't fill my son's prescription that his doctor called in asking for the medication to be increased. Then she claimed she call his doctor office to verify the prescription is being increased. But the doctors office was closed for the holiday . So it's not possible that she spoke to him. my sons doctor is also out of the country on vacation.
