Publix Super Markets

Visited this location a few times during my visit. On one occasion, I waited in line at the deli for over 15 minutes. Multiple people (locals, I'm assuming) walked up after me, were greeted, and served while I was ignored. I gave up and got something else to eat. Very disappointed in the deli service that others had raved about so much. I had a better experience at Wawa for a salad and sandwiches.

Very nice store with friendly staff. Had everything that I needed and then some. Shelves well stocked and neat. Hugh variety of fresh e, fruit, dairy and meat.

I love this store. I'm from NY originally and we don't really have anything to compare it to. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The sub sandwiches are the best around. The fresh made giant hot wings are something you will end up craving.

My experience at this Deli was God awful. The entitled and stubborn JEFF insisted on being a pain in the a**. Instead of listening to the customer or his employee. The situation was a week prior I ordered a box of mayo packets with the assistant manager. She ordered them then told me what day to pick them up. But when I did that's when all hell came lose because the boss JEFF didn't know of this, and that he doesn't have anything for me. I had to go to the front and speak to a manger over there who then had to convince JEFF to give me what I ordered. He was completely unprofessional and couldn't even hand it to me and apologize for their miss communication (on their part) he just put it on the counter and walked away.They should change out the deli manger one more time in my opinion.

I LOVE Publix supermarkets as a whole but this store, the Glen Lakes in Weeki Wachee, takes customer service to the next level!! Everyone, in every department, is friendly and super helpful, and offers an outstanding shopping experience!! This store is the BEST Publix I have shopped in!!! They know how to make people feel valued!!

Colleen told me that the ADA registered service dog had to be removed from her storeThey were stopping animals from coming in. My response was that she is registered & I can show you her card, I also pointed out her best with a special label on it, saying not to separate us. I ended up leaving, offended! Called the store Mgr 3hrs later, and he called. Didn't seem upset or shocked. Only the response was that I'd address the matter. A misdemeanor 1st time high fine, even possible jail time. He will address it, and I asked for a call back. NothingI cannot continue to goto or support a store that will refuse a person with need for the right to take their ADA Registered Service Dog I into the store to shop. Or have an Mgr on staff that will handle it properly. I will be contacting the ADA office & possibly an attorneyThe Pic below is her at a4 star restaurant after a big 3-4hr dinner party. I always thought of Publix as having the most friendly & courteous employees. This past week has changed my mind. On two separate occasions, the cashiers were very rude. The first young lady did not greet us & kept knocking the groceries on to the floor. I kept picking them up & not once did the cashier apologize. In fact, she didn't say anything. The second young lady also did not greet us & even though there wasn't a yellow divider in between our groceries, she cashed us out after ringing up 1/2 of our groceries. Then she was irritated when she was informed the rest of the groceries were also ours. I do not know what the issue was for either of these cashiers, but I have shopped at this Publix for many years & not once have I had a complaint about any of their employees.

Got a lottery ticket here and the girl behind the counter stared at my ID, then glared back up at me, then looked back down while making a face at my ID. I'm over 18 and the ID is real. Finally she sold me the ticket. No greeting, not friendly. I'm probably older than her but was treated like a child.

I ordered three sandwiches online - and was waiting at the deli. Finally the guy at the sandwich counter asked me what i was waiting for - i said i was waiting for an online order. Now - this guy was rude in his tone right from he beginning - no hello, what can i do for you - all he said was "what are you waiting for". When i told him my name - he said oh that doesn't say until 3 o clock - we haven't even looked at it yet. It was 250pm. It hasn't even been looked at yet so they were not going to get it done anytime soon. No we will be right on that, we will take care of you as soon as we can - just "we haven't even looked at it yet because it's not 3". This is their idea of polite and friendly customer service??? I left my full cart in the middle of the store near the customer service area. I will NEVER shop at Publix again. I live close to Publix - 3 minutes away and they were always my go to. I always spoke highly of Publix. Never again will i step into a Publix. This man has no business working with the public. I will never bring my family into Publix and i will make sure to let everyone that i can know what kind of people they hire at Publix. Such a shame to treat people like this. All because of one rude individual.
