Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them.I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

Much better than Whole Foods. Very friendly employees! Publix also offers a free cookie for the kiddos! Very neat five stars!

I love shopping here, everyone is always so nice to me. I wish they kept the shopping carts out of the parking lot, last week my car was hit by one.

Somehow, the staff at Publix always seem to be in a positive mood and willing to help find a hard-to-find item. Shopping isn't typically a fun experience but the attitude of the associates during a retail experience makes a big difference! The assortment of veggies is somewhat limited compared to other higher-end groceries but they typically have radicchio or something interesting to break up the monotony of onions, garlic, potatoes and carrots. I wish they had dandelion greens more often since they are truly wonderful to eat!

Both Publix customer service and prices have gone downhill. This Publix highlights all of this. The store has low or no stock in most items. The staff including the cashiers are rude and not attentive.I went into the store today to look for a few items. I asked for help to find an item and the staff refused to look in the back. When I went to check out the cashier refused to take my gift card and the bagger instead of bagging my items decided to flirt with the cashier.Even the clientele at the store leave something to be desired. They stop in front of you and do not leave any room for you to pass and this happened twice with the same person today. I have been to the Publix in Palm Harbor which is much cleaner and better stocked.Looking at Publix has a home their prices have skyrocketed and are equivalent of those of Whole Foods. I would much rather shop there and have fantastic customer service than at Publix. Shopping really did used to be a pleasure and now it's turned into a nightmare every time I go into the store. This chain has lost my patronage.

Normally, I'd give Publix a high rating, but ... this one was opting to have their parking lot re-surfaced. This made a difficult parking lot even harder to park in. They had a lovely bakery and a nice wine selection - the two things I came in for, but their card selection wasn't impressive and their gift wrap left a lot to be desired. The cashier and bagging girl were AWESOME though.

This is one of my favorite Publix locations. Not extremely busy & you can always find a helpful staff member that doesn't just point...they take you to the item you're looking for. Worth the drive :)

Horrible. This is the most horrific cooked chicken I've ever seen. I'm so disappointed I purchase two of Publix rotisserie chickens to find they were horribly undercooked.

This is by far the WORST RUN PUBLIX . I have been shopping at Publix for 40 years and this store in North Wood Plaza is far from Shopping is a pleasure . To avoid the frustration I typically go out of my way and shop at Bay Bridge location. Due to time crunch I didn't have that luxury. Once again this ILL RUN MISMANAGED STORE did not have a BOGO item available. The sale started TODAY AND THESE GUYS ARE OUT OF STOCK? please note this is not a hot COVID Commodity, it's a basic bakery item. Lakeland needs to get over here and watch how poorly this store is run . Until management changes I'm not going back.

I used to buy all my groceries here back when I worked 50+ hours per week & time was precious. Upon retiring though I discovered Aldi, Walmart, Costco & their MUCH THINNER PRICE MARGINS, COMPARABLE (IF NOT SUPERIOR) QUALITY, STAFF, & CLEANLINESS. The parking lot (hazardous) is only exceeded by The Home Depot up at Curlew for entrees.Consequently, I buy fewer and fewer foodstuffs at publix, focusing on BOGO's, sale items with discounted prices that are actually less than my favorites' everyday prices, Boer's Head meats & Five Grain Italian Bread. Here comes the Chutzpah. We like the bakery's Five Grain Italian artisanal Bread very much, but I want unsliced for freezing rather than sliced. In spite of MANY requests & complaints, the bakery mgn't/staff generally slice everything that doesn't move after cooling from the oven. If I call ahead to request unsliced loaves be set aside for later pick-up, I get noticeably less-leavened, less-puffy, more-dense, smaller loaves. We prefer this bread for sandwiches & are willing to pay the additional $1.84 in SALE PRICE ($2.99 vs $3.59 reg.) over our other breads bought elsewhere for this purpose.I guess I'll just have to "knuckle-under" to the MAN & take what I'm given.
