Prohibition Dunedin

Update, still amazing and still not selling their sauce :'( sell me your chipotle sauce!!!! I usually get the Cobb salad now which has smoked chicken and burnt ends! I sub the cheese tho cuz I don't like smoked gouda. I don't even use their salad dressing, just the chipotle sauce over it. Definitely check out their desserts after too and get something to go, sooo yummy.

Delicious food and great ambiance. Haven't had a bad meal @ prohibition yet. So many good options including burnt end tacos, Rueben sandwich, craft beer and a blackberry bourbon smash. They always seem to have space & fast service. Def will always go back!

The food here is always delicious and I love the unique flavors in each dish. They brought me the wrong fries on accident, but brought the correct ones when asked. The ambiance is very cute and is decorated on theme of the prohibition era, which I really like. Everything here was great except for the service. The past few times I have been here we have never had a problem, but this time our server was very inattentive and we often had empty drink cups for long stretches or needed something and she was nowhere to be seen. It felt like we were forgotten about which was a bit frustrating, but otherwise was a good experience overall and maybe was just an off night for service.

All of the good was amazing and there was a great dessert selection. Highly recommend!

We love coming here and every time I forget to take photos because we just dive into our food. We have been here for lunch, dinner and now brunch and all are fantastic! The service is always spot on and super nice. The place is really cool and kid friendly but also where your gang of adult friends can go hang out and not notice children if that is a concern. We love the rustic wood and the bar is super cool. Check them out!!

We've been here several times now and have not been disappointed. Nice atmosphere, great food and excellent service, not to mention, plenty of parking. The menu actually had a good number of items to select from. With items on the menu such as Brisket, Burnt Ends, Pork Belly and Southern Chicken, it does have a feel of southern or smokehouse vibe going on. My go to are the Nachos and Pork Belly BLT or PD Burger with blue cheese, bacon, jalapeños and onions. Their sweet-tea is really good in helping wash down the food. The other item which if you enter from the back you simply can not miss is their dessert selection. Although I'm not a fan of their cookies, the pies and cakes they have are so good my wife and I have come here (40 min drive) for dinner but the main event is the dessert!!!

Cool interior. Clean. Friendly servers. The food is exceptional. Burgers done well. Highly recommend the brunch.

Love it here! Great food & service! Prices are reasonable, due to high ceilings it's loud but that won't keep me away!

Food is goooood. Ribs are amazing. Service is poor. Sat at the bar both times I went and the same two bigger girl bartenders were horrible. Neither of them greeted us, both said the other one was gonna take our order. We waited and eventually had to flag them down to get a water and place an order. So unfortunate. Currently here now at the bar, still not even a water.

Very disappointed tonight.We have been going to PK Dunedin at least once per month for the last 4 1/2 years and have always enjoyed the food and service.Don't know what happened tonight. We arrived about 6pm and sat at the bar ... had our drinks ordered five minutes later. Then it went downhill!Ordered dinner (Cobb salad for my wife and a filet for me) ... about 6:10 pmI finished my wine and asked for another glass. The bartender proceeded to take an order for the gentleman who just sat down (after my order) and she proceeded to make his drink, watch him finish it and provide him the bill ... he paid and walked out ... while I still didn't get my wine order.When she did bring the wine, she apologized and said "this one is on me" which was a nice gesture.About 6:45 pm she let us know that our order was almost ready.As of 6:55pm, no food was delivered, no status was given ... we decided to give up ... after waiting for almost an hour for our food.There was little to no communication about the status of our meal.We left hungry and upset.The bartender barely apologized and there was no manager to be seen to discuss our disappointment.This is unfortunate, because PK Dunedin has always been one of our favorite go to places for good food.Tonight, the service was terrible and they wasted an almost an hour of my time.We didn't expect anything beyond the ordinary. But the service was absolutely terrible tonight.Management needs to look at their staff and implement a plan in order to provide better customer service!
