I can confidently say Pour Bear is becoming one of my favorite coffee shops in Lakeland, if not top favorite.I've been here a handful of times and have yet to have a bad experience or try something I haven't liked. Their seasonal menus always have fun options that are really good, and they manage to usually have some unique spins on what most coffee places usually go with. One of the best I've tried has been their "Boo" Brew- a marshmallow cold brew. They have baked goods as well that I believe they get from a local bakery- it can be hit or miss. Some are fantastic while others fall flat so it just depends what you choose there.Lastly, the vibe here is what really gets me. Walking in you feel transported in time to the 60s & 70s- everything they have seems to have been thrifted or bought secondhand somehow. They have a lot of the art hung up on the walls for sale if you so desire. My mom and my grandma have both said the decor makes them nostalgic of how their families' houses were decorated growing up, if that gives any hint to the atmosphere. It's so fun.Definitely give this place a try!

I stopped by Pour Bear Coffee unsure what to expect from another coffee shop. To my surprise, this quint little shop that is very nostalgic if days past. The shop features a list of specialty coffees and baked goods. I had the Caramel Cold Brew this visit. It was really quite tasty. The location can feel quite small when crowded and sitting can be limited. But I did love seeing the community supporting local business.

Went in for the first time today. Ordered a Latte with one Splenda and a piece of banana bread that I asked NOT to be heated. I got a latte no Splenda and a piece of banana bread that WAS heated. Not a difficult order, but still couldn't get it right. Plus they just threw the banana bread in the bottom of a brown paper bag, no paper, nothing. Yuk! Coffee was just okay. The banana bread was dry as a bone! The girls at the counter seemed pretty low energy. Cute place but probably won't be back.

Cute little place. The 2 people working very nice. It seems like it would be a nice place just to vibe out at with little board games and the couches. The coffee I got was the one with the honey, I liked it, pretty tasty. My wife got the tea and she enjoyed hers as well. If we're in the area again we would come back.

Food and service was fast and friendly. Had a cappuccino and warm blueberry muffin. The space was warm and inviting with couches and easy chairs with small tables scattered throughout the seating area.

Only open a week, this shop has a long way to go to compete with other coffee shops. (They do have a large employee following in the store and a good location as a neighborhood shop.) My first experience was mediocre at best. A scantilly clad mid-riff showing female took my order having to repeat "what kind of syrup" 3 times because she couldn't hold it in her head to put it on the order. Then same thing with type of milk. She was not dressed for success & had zero skills. The cups used to catch the espresso were either dirty or of poor glass that the sides were old & dingy. Someone was placing dripping glasses upside down by reaching over a drink being made. Offputting. My first iced latte tasted terrible--couldn't tell if it was a different type of almond milk, bad coffee or bad syrup. Just yuk. A friend who came another day shared not liking their latte either. I also bought a "jar bar", a large bar cookie, about $5 with oats, cranberries & chocolate. Overly sweetened to the point not edible, also very oily or greasy--perhaps butter. A half bar might've been better. The place was crowded w/noisy unsupervised children & young 30-somethings monopolizing the only table w/nothing to drink, and for too long, for a meeting. Staff had to run into the kitchen for ice, not an efficient creation of iced latte--still warm, full of ice. Order-taking and chaotic menu were both drawbacks. Nice Meraki baked goods. I'll choose theirs instead of the shop-made ones next time. The "2-could be better" is due to latte taste, drink size, food options, kid control, parking. Hoping to hear better things in the future. Second visit I had iced honey latte. Tasted lavender which I don't like and no cinnamon which was supposed to be in it. Their large is a 16 oz, mostly ice. Still had the issue of bad flavor-either their almond milk or their kaldi espresso. Not sure I need a next time, but noting ordering, teen dressing, friendliness, efficiency has improved in the month.

Consistently the best coffee shop I go to. The staff is always friendly, the coffee is always rich, and the pastries are incredible (especially the jar bar, I have to get it every time I go). Additionally, I just love the 60s-70s retro vibes, there is nothing else like it in Lakeland. It is also quieter than other coffee shops and not packed with a lot of people. Overall, very cozy and warm vibes. Thank y'all so much!!

Well, I let my Starbucks stars expire because Pour Bear has ruined me for any other coffee. Super friendly staff; they all try their very best to make me and the rest of my family feel welcome when we drop by for our Honey Bear iced coffees (I want to try other things on the menu but can't because I NEED MY HONEY BEAR). The store's decor is so nostalgic to me that I teared up when I walked in and found the same mirror my mom used to have hanging in our home's entrance. It's pretty, very comfy and you'll want to sit and stay for a visit. Give it a try! You're missing out if you don't.
