Clams Portono, eggplant parmigiana, veal parmigiana, glass of wine and a vodka soda. Service was cute, friendly and fast. Different owner but the food is top of the line still. The standout was the Clams. A delicious Portugal style that had us wishing there were more , even with the large serving. Prices are a little high but surprisingly the drinks were reasonable.

First time since new Owners took over and was very impressed. Service was Top Notch Leonarda was great! We had the Caprese and a salad to start then my wife had the Veal Parmesan, and had the Chicken Arrabiatta. Both were excellent. We were both full so we skipped Dessert. A live band with a Crooner singing Frank Sinatra made the Ambiance and the Dining experience even more enjoyable

Leslie and I have returned for a second time after ownership changed to Bachi. This ristorante is a favorite of ours. So relaxing, music is soothing, and the food has so much soul and taste. Our friend Bachi is a great host and we always have an enjoyable conversation with him. Leslie reports the spaghetti bolognese exceeded all expectations. My spaghetti alla puttanesca with shrimp is a definite one to order each time we are here. The home made fresh baked sour dough bread with the olive oil herb mix was out of this world. The ambiance is one of the best in the county. Such a great place to enjoy on a Sunday afternoon.

I think we just found our favorite restaurant in Pinellas County! It was hard earned and we've been through a lot of food and spaces but this time, I feel like we finally SCORED!!! So much so that I kinda wanted to write the chef a love letter! We watched other food come out--the lasagne looks AMAZING! We had Calamari to start, then the AMAZING bread and olive oil dip---that could've been my last meal and I would've died happy!! The house salad was delicious (it's how I make my own salads-same ingredients so it was terrifically like home!) and then we both got special. I got the Pollo Toscana--GIRL!!!!! you have no idea!!! Some of my fav veggie elements with a creamy spicy sauce, 100!!! Hubby got the ribeye and wanted to share but I was too involved with my own food, LOL! He seemed to really enjoy it. But like I said--I have a yummy sauce, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, spinach---Im in deep over here--not really thinking about a steak. He did murmur something about spinach and veggies but honestly--I was so mesmerized by my own plate I couldn't focus on anything else. Honestly, like a said...a love letter feels in order. Absolutely delicious!

We were repeat offenders of the original location and were saddened to see it leave. When we heard it was reopening by new owners, we were excited as they were bringing back the old menu we fell in love it. We figured we'd wait awhile to let the new owners work out the kinks. We were delighted to see the interior of the building has had minor changes such as added bar and the band moved from the back to the front. They fixed the wine menu and the Pinot noir I ordered was packed with flavor. We revisited some of our old likings and were saddened to see the quantity and some of the quality of the food was altered. The stuffed mushrooms only had 4 and was a little pricey compared to the "old" menu that offered more. Delicious, yes, but not worth the cost anymore. Additionally, they tweaked the fettuccini Alfredo & no longer offer the wide noodles that once was there (& extremely crave-able). The portion sizes have seemed to have gone down in size and def a different authentic taste than the original. The food was good and we will be back as it's local. But sad that the small changes they had made has hindered the taste of some of our old classics. We will just order different dishes that don't associate us with the old name and stay a new. We love to explore new foods anyways! Def recommend the shrimp bisque though. Also the jazz band was a good change of pace!

We went for the first time last week under the new ownership. Whenever I go to an Italian restaurant for the first time I order chicken parmigiana. I really liked it. The limoncello cheesecake was outstanding. Our server, Christian, was excellent. The food was delivered in a timely manner without feeling rushed. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The music was enjoyable. Loud enough to hear but not so loud that you couldn't talk. A few people got up to dance including us with our 3 year old granddaughter. Which kept her occupied between courses. She loved her pasta which was tossed with butter and cheese.

I recently went to Positano's to experience how it was with the new ownership. It's basically the same menu with increased prices and different recipes. The old Positano's was so much better. Plus the customer service and management isn't what it use to be. The manager/owner sat at the bar and never came around to his customers. I honeslty think he could care use about his diners experience. The food was eidible but nothing special. I've heard from friends that they all had the same experience and won't be back.

From the minute we stepped into this hidden gem, we knew we'd always be coming back! The owner came over to greet us and remembered us stopping by one time to simply check out the restaurant. This was our first time eating here and EVERYONE was so impressive! The host staff, the servers, the owner, and the entertainers! Yep, they have entertainment via saxophone, flute and vocals ( think Frank Sinatra days...swoon ). They also made their rounds having conversations with patrons and did so GENUINELY . We were ecstatic and loved being serenaded by their music What a LOVELY touch by the owner to include that in their dining experience. The food was the best Italian cuisine we have had since moving here 5 years ago! The portions are large and the flavors are paired well together!! I had the fettuccine Alfredo and he had the eggplant rollatini ! The desert was equally delicious- we tried the Belgium chocolate Carmel torte! I had a difficult choice as their crème brûlée was tempting too!! I also had the French martini (2!!) and he had the Super Tuscan wine (2!) The server was equally lovely and so very sweet!!!! They were getting busy as we were savoring the last wine, martini, and dessert but could see how well they ALL worked together to coordinate their next turnover. Thank you for a magical Italian evening! We can't wait to come back soon!!!

I have wanted to try Positano's for a while now and the bogo coupon made it a perfect opportunity. My husband and I both had a Caesar salad, very fresh and delicious. Fried calamari as an appetizer, it could have been cooked a bit longer but it was still tasty. We both had veal dishes, his was the Positano, excellent and mine was Arrabiata, again, excellent. Portions are sizable and we will be enjoying our food at home as well. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Positano's for a delightful dining experience.
