Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I was craving some chicken so decided to get some ghost pepper wings since they had an offer on them. I probably waited around 15 minutes which is excessive for such a small order. I pulled up through the drive thru and no one greeted me for a solid 5 minutes. The lady taking my order has no business talking to customers. Super unprofessional. When I got to the drive thru window I waited another 6-8 minutes. Same thing there, no one said we'll be there in a moment or thanks for waiting. While waiting I was admiring the facility how nice it looked from the outside and said what a shame. The staff looked like they didn't like each other and you could feel tension between them. The food wasn't that great either. The wings were nice and crispy but had way too much batter. The mac n cheese was just 10 pieces of noodles mixed in solidified cheese with a bunch of grease on the sides of the bowl. Overall customer service sucks, the food has tremendous potential but the staff are ruining it.

The manager should be fired and the franchisee should be sanctioned by corporate. Door and app states 10am opening time. Placed order on app and drive 3 miles to pickup my order and walked in. No food in restaurant anywhere in sight. 3 employees doing next to nothing. Manager said "we are not open" I replied door says 10am and she replied "we will open when I get enough people here". I can back an hour later and they locked the door and wouldn't answer drive through. No signs ..nothing!!! Spent $12, an hour and a half of my day to drive away hungry. The reviews don't lie, worst managed restaurant in town.

What an incredible disappointment. I've been hearing for years how amazing Popeyes is and how it's stands leaps and bounds above all of the other competitors out there. That was a lie. I realize that Popeyes is known for their Louisiana flavors and breading, however when the breading is a solid 10:1 ratio to the actual protein itself, that's a problem. It's like getting a huge box delivered to your front door, only to open it and discover a much smaller box with a small worthless trinket inside. I submitted my order through their website, as they had some "online only offers" available. Much like most online order apps, Popeyes gives you the option of where to pick up your order (Counter Dine-In Service, Carry-Out or Drive Thru pickup). I selected Drive-Thru pickup as that was the most convenient option for me at that time.I arrived at the location and found the Drive-Thru line empty and two employees smoking near the back of the parking lot just near the company's garbage dumpsters. I waited to be greeted at the speaker, but no one responded. After about 90 seconds or so of no response, I started to pay attention to the time. I offered a simple, "Hello" and got nothing in return. Four and a half minutes later (at this point I've been sitting in the Drive-Thru line for about six minutes) the two employees who were smoking near the dumpsters when I arrived glared at me as they both went back inside their building. Within moments of their return inside, someone came through on the box with "Yeah, what do you need?" Wow. Customer service is clearly paramount here at Popeyes. I stated that I had submitted an online order to be picked up at the Drive-Thru and was told, "All online orders have to picked up inside." I informed the employee that I had selected Drive-Thru as my pickup option and she rudely stated, "If you want your food, you need to come inside." I pulled around the building and parked my car, quite furious at this point. I went in, I gave the young woman at the counter my name and she said, "I ain't got no regular battered white meat for your meal." I asked her what other options were available and she waved her hand at the rows of trays of food behind her, like she was a cheapened version of Vanna White. I informed the employee that this was my first time trying Popeyes and as a result, I wasn't familiar with their menu in order to select a backup option. None of the racks were labeled in any way, so I wasn't able to decipher what everything was. She asked if I minded Spicy breading, and I told her that was fine with me. She put everything together and I immediately left the building. Once in my car, I took a peek at what I was given, and I nearly threw all of out the window. What a disappointment. The amount of meat on the bone was a disgrace and as I mentioned earlier, the breading to chicken ratio was way over the top. I will never be returning to Popeyes again!

Don't we all love some good fried chicken?? Popeyes has always been my favorite fast food chain fried chicken spot! Drive thru service was quick and CS was food. The ghost pepper wings had good flavor but may have been sitting before served. They were a tad too soggy for me.

Mark and his team of staff members are the best in the business and a huge asset to the company Mark is a god sent, this is the best Popeyes in all of Florida because of Mark and his team members , Popeyes should promote mark to the president of Popeyes. Mark and his team are extremely hard working and very cleanly and valuable assets to the company , This location is also the cleanest I've ever seen a Popeyes and they all deserve a raise so please don't let this go unnoticed Popeyes!

This Popeyes location is an absolute zero star abomination. Been there 3 times and I'm a slow learner. Just garbage service, and unreal how slow they are. One time they had no chicken!!! But were open. Tonight I've already paid and am waiting now over 25 minutes to get my food brought out.Stay away, you've been warned.

I get off work at 10 and wanted Popeyes after work because they don't close till 11. I got here at 10:30 just for them to say they're closed. Google maps and their website says closing time is 11pm but they actually close much earlier than that.

This have to be the worst Popeyes I ever been to. I tried to go inside to order.They refused to let me in, but when I look inside, I see three city of Saint Petersburg workers inside eating I had to go through the drive-through. The manager also refused to talk to me. The funny thing is three weeks ago at the same Popeyes I tried to go through the drive-through and they said I had to come inside poor management at this place..

I will not rate this with any stars at all. I only put 1 because it wouldn't let me post my review. The food is good but the staff sucks. They are unable to handle an order for 6 people. Also, they were out of wings, which made 2 people mad. This is like messing with a pregnant craving women. They can't even get a simple order right but yet want $15/hour. DO NOT ORDER AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ********THEY NEED HELP FROM THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE TO GET THIS LOCATION MANAGEBLE.********************************SEND YOUR GM TO GET THE STORE RUNNING****************This location should be shut down-horrible customer service.

Food is good here but the service is very poor. You can expect to wait a long time is the drive through before being served.UPDATE: I just went to use the bathroom and the toilet did not flush and there was no soap dispenser at all.
