FIVE STARS!!! A FIVE star experience! Besides the food , the servers, the design, and the accessibility are all five stars. My favorites include their flautas and their made to order (at your table) Guacamole! They have Aguas Frescas that are delicious. Easy to get there as it is right off of I-75 and Sun City Center Blvd. treat yourself and check out this wonderful place!

The ambiance is such a vibe, the food is so tasty and the customer service is great! It's on the pricer side IMO, however it was well worth it. Especially for the fresh table-side guacamole, so good and I definitely recommend. If you go there for a birthday, they sing, have a sign and it's definitely so fun! It does get SUPER busy at peak times like lunch and dinner.

We visited Plaza Mexico over the weekend to celebrate my niece's birthday, and let me tell you, the birthday vibes were out of this world! Every time a birthday dessert was brought out, the music in the whole restaurant shifted to their festive birthday song. And it gets loud! What followed was an epic parade of sparklers, light-up sticks, and a giant glowing sign carried by their enthusiastic team. It was a display that would rival any birthday bottle service at a nightclub!From the moment we stepped in, we were surrounded by vibrant glass art that added a colorful and artistic touch to the restaurant's ambiance. The fun vibes were electric throughout the tables, and we couldn't wait to dive into the menu. But the ambiance wasn't the only thing worth talking about--the food was absolutely delicious. Their guacamole was possibly the best I've ever had, and the experience of having it made fresh tableside on their little guacamole cart added a personalized touch that I absolutely loved.Being a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for delicious veggie options, and Plaza Mexico did not disappoint. The veggie fajitas were not only flavorful but also so generously portioned that I enjoyed them as a whole second meal the next day. Or I may have just been so full from the guacamole and bowl of chips I ate that night at the restaurant!Overall, our experience at Plaza Mexico was nothing short of amazing. While I do wish they would take reservations, a larger group of eight of us were able to walk in on a Saturday night and, even then, the wait was only 30 minutes. The combination of delicious food, lively ambiance, and fun service made it a birthday celebration to remember. I'm already looking forward to my next visit--probably to celebrate MY birthday!If you're in Sun City or planning a visit soon, do yourself a favor and check out Plaza Mexico. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving some authentic Mexican cuisine, Plaza Mexico is sure to be a fiesta of a time!

Probably will return.Colorful light shades. Although it saturated the small space, with the high back chairs, but the foods are decent.The freshly made guacamole by the table side, is bit salty but yummy. The chips are fresh. The rest is a blur -:) I only got a few photos.They're re-roofing or something, wires are everywhere.

Well-seasoned food! Intimate dining! A fun interpretation of Mexican culture! Vegetarian options.This restaurant is busy, bustling like the streets of a major city. The aura of this restaurant on my Saturday nice was major. To start, we were welcomed by unlimited free, fresh chips and salsa. Next, we were given enough time to order amazing entrees from a large array of selections. THE FOOD: This is quality Mexican food. The prices are a bit high but its due to the experience you receive. The rib eye was seasoned perfectly, with such a soft delicate texture. Super tender. Everything else was amazing as well. The peppers are charred on the skillet, the avocado is ultra-fresh, and the rice is authentic hispanic yellow rice. 9/10 for the price.ENVIRONMENT: There are fresh guacamole carts, youthful music and partying explored here. There's lovely decor that creates an intimate dining experience. Its so fun you would have to judge it for yourself! To improve: the waiting area/ situation going on is flawed and causes some inconvenience like a 45-1 hour minute wait we experienced. Also, the servers feel very rushed and probably could use more staffing. Everything else feels good though. Thank you.

This is one of my parents favorite restaurants and now I know why. The service is fast and friendly, the prices are great, the food is authentic, and their music and decor is vibrant. We got bacon wrapped shrimp as one of the appetizers and my sister and mom loved it. We also got the elote which was amazing and the table side guac which was to die for. I got the enchilada supreme, which came with a chicken, beef, cheese, and a bean enchilada all of them were flavorful. All the portions are really big too! I'll def be back

Atmosphere - Good. There is a large bar on the left as you enter the restaurant. On the right, there are a couple dozen booths. The dining area is a little dark.Service - Excellent! Our server (Zarya) was one of the best servers that we have had for some time. She was very pleasant and attentive.Food - Excellent! Finally!! We have tried every Mexican restaurant within a 20 mile radius of our home and could not find one that we really liked. I order the combo lunch that involved a beef taco, a chicken enchilada and rice. Every item was excellent and the portion size was huge for a lunch order. The chicken was particularly tender, which I find is rare.Overall Value - Excellent! All of the boxes were checked for me and I look forward to returning.

Great lunch spot. Tamales are a favorite for lunch. Margaritas plain salted are the way to go and we love the table side guacamole

The service was great people very polite. I think it's one of the best Mexican food places in the area. Love the fact they make your guacamole right at your table.

Been wanting to try this place for a while and I wish we tried it sooner!! The food was awesome and the atmosphere was really fun! Our server Gus was also amazing! It was a little on the pricey side but I think it was worth it.
