This was our first time dining at Plaza Mexico, and overall, we had a great experience. We were seated quickly, and chips and salsa were served right away, which was a nice touch. Our server took a little while to come to our table, but she was friendly when she did.One thing we wish we had known ahead of time was how fast the food would arrive--our appetizer came out at the same time as our entrées, which made it feel unnecessary, especially at $15 when it was barely touched. That said, the food itself was delicious, and the margaritas were amazing!Despite the minor timing issue, we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back in the future. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!

The portions are huge.. the happy hours is great. their margaritas are to live for.. I it's not like other places where it's a low quality syrup with a faint hint of alcohol .... Noo these are good quality margaritas with alcohol-- so much so I was tipsy and had to be a passenger. the fajitas were extremely delicious with an incredibly savory marinated steak. complimentary nachos and salsa And the best part is that are very affordable -- and it's all new-The place is absolutely beautiful with a lot art. They also have a shots with a mangonada twist ... I really want to come back and try these on my birthday

Outside it doesnt look like what im used to. Its still a nice place. Looks high end. Food is very good but pricey. Margarita was very good. Street corn and enchiladas were very good. Staff were on top of it. Its a nice place and ill be back but it is expensive so cant go as often.

Manager stopping by tables and making sure we are good?? Love it! You rarely see this! Food and drink were great! Big portions and worth the money for the quality of service and food! I love Mexican food and like to try new places like this! They have an awesome "performance" when a group is celebrating something and do shots with a cool presentation! They turn the music up, lights are flashy, it's such a good vibe! Not too upbeat to enjoy dinner but just enough to get a good vibe! Salud! Great jobs to this location!

1st time there. Food was very good & good quality. We sat at the bar which the bartenders are so busy making drinks they are not tending to the people at the bar. Great atmosphere. Problem is their liquor is either watered down or they are using cheap stuff. People who drink specific liquor can tell. If we go back I'll order water so they will be losing money.But all the restaurants are doing it. What a shame.

Upon entering plaza, Mexico restaurant, you notice the beautiful tower, decorations and lovely light fixtures. It smells amazing. When we were seated a basket of chips and fresh salsa was brought out quickly. The salsa was good, but the chips were flavorless. Our lunch dishes were brought out quickly and were very tasty. The portion size was very generous and we both took home food. I enjoyed Plaza Mexico, except for the tortilla chips. I would like to return to try some other menu items.

I will take my review back from 2 years ago. I will not take one foot into this place anymore. Horrible horrible what they did to dozens of people waiting. Their credit card machine was down so they claim to only take cash which everyone waiting said ok. After waiting 20-45 minutes the manager came over and told the host to not sit anyone anymore. When we asked why, the manager simply told the host he was busy to answer our questions. Everyone that was waiting had to leave and were also annoyed. This is the service you expect from this place? I just didn't understand the purpose of that if we are all paying cash. Sorry but you will never see my business or anyone I know that I will tell them about my experience. Way to go manager!!!

This place used to be our #1 Mexican restaurant, but since they changed their menu the food isn't as good! Definitely still have amazing chips and salsa and delish margs! I miss the green burrito and fajitas for two!

Came here after a long day at St. Petersburg and man did those margaritas hit! Such amazing portions me and my family loved them. It didn't take long for my family to get seated and our waiter was such an amazing guy, so attentive and also the guacamole guy that walks around with his cart asking if we wanted any is such an amazing idea! Love it. I ordered some everything fajitas which you can never go wrong with! I loved it and I left there full. Would definitely come again.

Servers were nice and polite but food was not good. Burrito was plain, it should come with more complements or at least decor. Guac was black and had an old taste. Kind of expensive for the taste of the food.
