Pizza Joe's - a Taste of Buffalo

GREAT FOOD! Heard this place has good pizza but we chose the wings & beef on weck. Couldn't have been better! The wings were REAL buffalo wings, crispy skin and lots of sauce! The beef on weck was amazing!!! So tender it melts in your mouth! And the rolls are brought in from costanza's in Buffalo. CAUTION: you can only get the beef on weck on Wednesdays because of that. When we were finishing our lunch, someone overheard us saying that next time we would come back to try the pizza. And they brought us a slice to try! Cup & char pepperoni from Buffalo too! Talk about customer service....this place is superior on that too! Don't be in a hurry though when you come in because everything is made to order so it takes time. There are complaints that their pricing is high, but you get what you pay for & quality costs a bit more! And this place is quality!

This was our 2nd time visiting this DELICOUS pizza establishment in Palm Harbor! The owners/ staff are so kind and inviting. Like they have known us forever! The pizzeria is decorated in Buffalo Bills Football fan decor and family and friends photos. It's really comfy at the bar. Beer, Soda, and Pizza. What else could you ask for? The pizza was fresh and hot from the oven with those funny little pepperonis that turn up. :) Be sure to ask for a side of the cherry peppers, they will light you up! They have great 2 slice and a drink special for those who cant eat a whole pie. Go in and give it a try...you will be pleasantly surprised. See you soon!

Best Wings in Town!.!.!I have reviewed prior but wanted to update. We travel a lot. Good food is hard to come by. This is the place. These are great people who want to give you the best experience. Thank you for doing it right and doing it best.

Finally visited this local spot in Palm Harbor. Love that they sell pizza by the slice, we each had the two slices special (pepperoni or cheese) and they were fresh outta the oven. Talked to Jim about the biz and history, and before we knew it our hot slices were out. Really liked the sauce, cheese and cupped pepperonis. We'll be back!!

What's different and unique about Buffalo pizza? We found out tonight at the opening night for Pizza Joe's! The toppings go all the way to the edge right over the crust! We ordered a large pie to go with anchovies, green olives, mushrooms and sausage. The pie has a nice crisp but is not super thin. I would call it classic and well made football pizza which works since the restaurant caters to Buffalo Bills fans! All the staff were super nice, especially Jennifer and Vanessa! It was opening night and there was a constant stream of both to go and in house orders. They kept things moving and took an appropriate amount of time to interact with customers. They also have Buffalo wings, of course, and salads, subs and chicken fingers with all sorts of secret Buffalo ingredients! I asked if they could give me a hint what their Noah's Secret Steak Oil for wings is about and there was a long, long pause followed by "No, we can't tell you!" Perfect!I was later offered a clandestine chance to taste the secret sauce! It's spicy, flavorful and fantastic! I ended up ordering the wings and they were a hit! My eyes were watering from the secret heat! Then I got to meet Noah, the creator of this unique sauce! Woohoo! Thanks man!What is your favorite food from Buffalo? Oh wow, we felt like family the second we stepped in! Never been to Buffalo but we felt right at home the owner sat with us while we waited for our pick up in such a cute family friendly restaurant. He introduced us to so many buffalo favorites! A sample of loganberry had us hooked. Tall pours on wine and super cold beers. We came home to one of the best pizzas we've ever. 10/10 would recommend. Please make the stop by! Don't miss out

Pizza has great flavor -- stellar marinara sauce. The pizza logs were OK -- I'd never had them before and nothing against them just not my cup of tea -- imagine an egg roll filled with cheese and pepperoni with marinara on the side. I prefer doughy pizza rolls. Personal preference. Finally, the wings -- I did 1/2 mild which were on the drier side, would have liked more sauce. The other 1/2 was honey garlic which were the best wings I've had in town. I'd come back just for those wings.One thing that was confusing-- even though the online ordering system gave the option for curbside pickup, there weren't instructions for how exactly to do that. I suppose you call them when you arrive. The staff was very nice. All around solid and worth a visit!

I've been in Florida since 2005, but I'm originally from Buffalo. This place has great Buffalo staples- perfectly cooked wings with delicious blue cheese! Pizza logs. Antipasto salad- it's not Italian, it's Buffalo! Cupped pepperoni isn't an extra $$ option, it's their standard! The crust is the perfect thickness! The sauce to cheese ratio is spot on! You want a taste of Buffalo in Florida? YOU HAVE TO GET the Lakso's Special- it's a stuffed banana pepper pizza- or- try a chicken finger sub! We came on a Saturday, but on Wednesdays you can get a true hometown classic- Beef on Weck! Do you like Blasdell Pizza from WNY? You're gonna love Pizza Joe's- they are one and the same! A little shop on US 19 filled with great pizza and great people!

The best NY style pizza I have found since moving to Florida 30 years ago. The wings were amazing also. Upgrade to the honey garlic, it is so worth it.

Totally worth the stop! We found this by accident so glad we did! Best pizza in the area, and don't get me started on the wings! These are the real deal! Plus the blue cheese is to die for! The owners have a personality that'll make you want to keep coming back! We live 15 miles from this place but make it a point to go back as often as we can! 100% recommend you won't be sorry!
