My boyfriend and I love pisco! If you're planning on going for the first time, we recommend ordering the Jalea platter. It's a combination of fried seafood (if you like seafood) the portion sizes are great for what you pay.

The food there is amazing! We had the Jalea and it's nothing but fried seafood goodness. We've been there a few times before and the service needed to be improved. This time, our server was very attentive. The Jalea is so good that we ordered another one. There is plenty of seating in a pleasant atmosphere.

A foodie friend recommended Peruvian food and Pisco Restaurant for lunch because #1 I was looking to eat paleo dishes and #2 it was close to my job.You should know that this was the first time I ever had Peruvian food, so I cannot comment on authenticity and have no other past Peruvian dishes to compare it to. With that said, I really enjoyed the strong citrus flavor of the Ceviche and the assorted seafood were cut into small bite-sized pieces so each bite was flavorful. I liked that this dish included sweet potatoes and corn so it wasn't just a protein packed entree. My friend also had the Ceviche Mixto, but also ordered the Antichucos to share with me. I had never tried beef hearts, but I love to try foods that I'm nor familiar with. The antichucos was served with yucca and corn, which was a nice side instead of potatoes or rice. I expected beef heart to be chewy and tough. On the contrary, it was surprisingly on the tender side... like a thick cut of steak cooked medium-well and the flavor was spectacular. The fact that they served it with yucca made it a dish I would definitely come back for. The dishes are large and each entree is enough for 2 people to share or for 1 person to have a leftover meal for the following day. I cannot express how much I love that there were many Paleo options. Sometimes, it can be a challenge to find Paleo friendly meals at restaurants without having to make changes to the menu. Lastly, they had friendly and quick service. Note: they do have a nice lunch menu, but we ordered from the main menu.

I'm not sorry that I'm addicted to Ceviche.I convinced my hubs to upgrade the appetizer portion to the larger size of Ceviche for an additional $5 because I LOVE this dish so much that I hog it.The Ceviche is simply wonderful with extra red onions (THANK YOU, Pisco) for remembering to add more. I also liked the perfectly cut fish - just the right bite size and amount of citrus to "cook" the fish in it.I ordered and was able to get the food picked up in a very reasonable amount of time especially on a work night around 7:45pmEST. I always tell myself to be adventurous, but let's be real, this dish delivers on everything from freshness to a large serving AND is delightful. One day I'm going to travel to Peru, so I can eat this dish everyday on vacation like I did when I was in Costa Rica! =)Live Musical performances-check Facebook for band info.!

I ordered through Uber and when it arrived, the Parihuela was still nice and hot and the ceviche was nice and cold. As you can see from the picture, there was a lot of seafood in the soup and except for a couple of calamari rings that were overcooked everything else was just fine. The crab claw was even cracked which made it easier to eat. The ceviche was just the way I like it, not too sour and the small portion was more than enough for me for two meals. I'll certainly be ordering from them again.

I am extremely disappointed in my visit today. I have been eating at Pisco faithfully a few years now. Every week. However, the last 3 times the food has not been up to the food standards. But today took the cake. Jalea De Mariscos(Seafood platter)is my husband's and I favorite. When receiving our food, it looked different. Upon tasting it, the food was horrible. We could Not chew the octopus, calamari, or shrimp. The seafood was rock hard, as though it was refried leftovers. After speaking to the manager, Maria T, she took a sample to the owner, who stated that Octopus was naturally tough. Absolutely not. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, and they didn't offer to replace the 75% of the dish that was inedible. The seafood was old and over cooked, and the side dish of fried plantains was extremely undercooked. I wasn't expecting a free meal. I just expected to enjoy a meal that I planned on and paid for. Whoever is running that restaurant does not value their customers, with no regard to providing quality food. It was infuriating to leave a restaurant hungry. Therefore, I will no longer patronize this establishment. I don't care to spend my hard earn money on disgusting food and worse service. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO PISCOS. Ps. I did 1 star because 0 wasn't an available option.
