The one thing that stood out about this place were the employees. They recommended food as though they were talking to a friend about what their favorite dishes were. Meaning, the employees are invested. I loved it. Pros: Staff The food was really good. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I'm always looking for a new place to find pancakes and this was no disappointment. Cons: The only thing that comes to mind is that it's tiny so it's a bit cramped.

Sorry Pinky's but you are no longer the same restaurant. First, you drop the best thing in your menu "French toast" or "skillets" which were a favorite! Then, I recall saying before, "damn this sandwich has so much bacon!" But now the photo speaks for itself! The grits were watery and lacked flavor, they were the worst I've had. I paid extra for them too!You should just raise your prices and go back to the way it was before! I recall having to wait an hour to be seated on a Saturday morning and today there were empty tables. That says a lot. Definitely not worth $35.

I'm not sure how long Pinky's has been around, but it has been a staple around South Tampa for many years. When my husband has a light morning, we will head over there, sit at the bar and order a delicious breakfast! There's not much turnover, so the staff will know the locals and always greet you very friendly.I usually order a lighter breakfast - egg whites, avocado, wheat toast, and always have to have crispy bacon. My husband usually orders some kind of breakfast that includes eggs, bacon, grits, and a side pancake- which he loves! The food is always fresh, and they have some menu items and drinks that change frequently. There is a coffee bar with a lot of different flavored creamer. (I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I know people love this!) Pinkys has indoor seating, bar seating, and outdoor seating. It's a really cute and incredibly delicious breakfast spot!

Such a cute little diner. The servers were super, super friendly and even knew my friends orders when we arrived. The food was tasty, the plates huge, and the price so affordable! I could not recommend this diner enough!

South Carolina Grits in Tampa! Can't beat it. Delicious food and even better service. A new local fav! So good and nice cozy seating as well. Smaller spot makes it feel more personal.

I've been wanting to try Pinky's for months! Last time I tried, there was a 45 minute wait so we opted to go somewhere else. Today we were told about 20 minutes so we decided to hang out. I did not realize how small the place was - they really can only accommodate around 20 people at a time, including the bar + outside's first come first serve seating. We were not told outside was first come first serve, otherwise we would have sat down immediately. We waited about 40 minutes for a table before we were seated. The slow turnaround on tables is not because of service or the kitchen, it's simply because there are so few tables inside that if a party hangs out for awhile after they've paid it makes a huge difference. My friend and I were ready to order almost immediately and both got different versions of the basic breakfast. I opted to not get toast, but it would have been an upcharge to substitute it for anything else. I always hate this about breakfast places, but it wasn't the end of the world. Our server was friendly and attentive.I ordered my eggs over easy and they were more medium, but once again, not the end of the world. The bacon was delicious and the potatoes weren't too greasy or heavy. It was a nice portion of food and I ate every last bite. I'm a pretty small person though, so I imagine what I ordered may not be enough food for most. Overall, it's a solid classic breakfast joint. Just go early on a weekend or expect to wait!

We came by after seeing all the great reviews. It is a very small eating area but full of character. We sat at a two top by the kitchen. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about menu. We ordered veggie frittata with cuban toast and cheddar jalapeño grits and breakfast burrito with chorizo and a chocolate chip pancake. We also had the Jamaican me crazy coffee and the bold coffee. I really liked the frittata because they did not put green peppers in it. The burrito was also very good but we both agreed the cheddar jalapeño grits were the best! The coffee was nice and smooth and we could drink it with our sugar The bathrooms were clean and the service was great. A great little breakfast place

Great American breakfast. I had a to go order and everything tasted great. I just feel like the portions are pretty small. Again food is good and they have a short wait which is a good thing. Friendly staff but next time I will try to dine in. Maybe on the platter it will be more food. I'm a breakfast girl so this is important to me.Parking is pretty good and location is smaller & gives mom +pop feel so not expecting an arena. The waitresses are friendly & the food exudes southern, homestyle nostalgia.

Stopped by after several word of mouth 5 star reviews and brought my pup with me. We ate outside and Ishtar was great - checking up on us with frequency and brought Andie a bowl of water. The breakfast burrito with sausage was delicious and I had blueberry oatmeal pancakes with for dessert. Both were delicious- will definitely be coming back soon!

While in Tampa, we were looking for a place to have breakfast. Wow did we ever strike gold. This is definitely the spot to stop for having breakfast.Walking and it was a very cute little place. We were handed a menu in seated quickly. I had to special of the day, which was an omelette with smoked sausage, jalapeños, tomatoes, and cheese! Why did this thing have a ton of flavor! The staff was very friendly, and we're glad we stopped there! If ever back in Tampa, I know where we're having breakfast!
