The service from James at Pia's was exceptional. He is friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and a consummate pro. A few of the dishes we had- the chicken piccata was wonderful and the homemade linguini was the highlight of several dishes, the Gorgonzola gnocchi was delicious, and the shrimp scampi was very good. It is a very cozy environment with fun lively 90's 2000's music playing. Decor is classic Italian American. If you ever find yourself in Gulfport, I cannot recommend a dinner at Pia's highly enough.

Pias is our "GoTo" place for any special occasion. We had our son's rehearsal dinner there for 25 people. They setup a wonderful table outside complete with flowers. Totally unexpected and added to a spectacular evening.Last night was my wife's birthday and once again everything was outstanding. Besides the birthday candlelight, my chicken parm was the best I have ever had anywhere! No better place in town for a great dinner experience EVERY time.

Just ate here again for the first time in over ten years, and - boom - home run city, population me.Our fabulous server (I wish I remembered his name, but he was a tall and lovely man) was so utterly perfect. Attentive and delightful, and chock full of info. A good server really seals the deal on an elite-level dining experience. The bread...my lord! I ordered the 8 dollar full loaf, expecting it to be a mini loaf like at a Carrabba's or such, but no. This was a full size giant loaf of warm bread, which we (somehow) over the course of the meal ate the entire thing. The linguine with clams was perfection, as was the Alfredo variant. The prices at Pia's are incredibly, shockingly reasonable. That 8 dollar loaf of bread would be 15 dollars downtown. My entrée would have easily been 10-15 dollars more at any other Italian place in the area. The value alone makes Pia's a mandatory future go-to for anytime I have a pasta craving.Knocking the 5-star home run out of the park is the atmosphere. Quaint and homey and full of character. A Gulfport classic. I'm so glad I came back.

Ambiance - 5* - Very cozy and comfy.Service - 4* - couldn't have been more friendly, but they didn't check back after food was served, until time for dessertFood - 2* - soup was fantastic! Crab risotto, what we hoped would be the highlight, was tasteless. T'was supposed to have lump crab meat, but it had only a few tiny strands of crab meat. We salted. We peppered. We pushed it around and nibbled. Ultimately, if entree simply isn't good, it's hard to recommend the place.

Let me start off by saying this is more of a 4 1/2 star review. I'll get into the 1/2 star less later. We never been to the Gulfport area as this restaurant was a recommendation and a great one at that! We did a double date night and had a great time!We ordered 2 apps with one being the Carpaccio and the other being the Calamari. I've had better Carpaccio so I will def pass on this next time whereas the Calamari was pan seared and delicious! Also please ask for bread and once we did, we were provided with an accompanying olive oil + roasted red pepper delight! Don't sleep on this ask!For the main event, I went with their Lasagna which was served in a cast iron skillet. Amazing! I was def order this again but maybe not finish it! Ha.The less 1/2 star was for their Old Fashioned. I did not care for ice used for this as I knew it was one of those drinks, you just don't order from a joint like this. I should've stuck with wine. Service was great and attentive and know parking was limited but possible to find a spot! We will be back in the future.

This is a local favorite and has become a must go Italian spot when I'm in the area. Locally owned for over 15 years this place was packed when my friends and I stopped by on a Friday. We ordered everything from the meatballs, pork shank over risotto, smoked salmon and mussels. Shout out to our server Hailey she was sweet, kind and patient with us. She knew all of the great options and highly recommend on going with what she says. All of the dishes were amazing and I would order them again. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the pork was fall off the bone when it got to the table. The salmon and mussels were also delicious. The mussels portion was so generous it was a lot for the 3 of us.There is a smaller restaurant and a large one with private dining areas next door. I loved the interior dark lighting with an old rustic feel. The cocktails here are also good and they have 10% off bottles of wine with Yelp check in. The staff here work well together. Everything here is made fresh in house. It was fun to here about the restaurants history and how Hailey served traveling snow birds every couple of months. They also feature an extensive gluten free and vegan dishes including cocktails as well. We really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be back.

I actually really enjoyed my meal here! I'm so sad that I got full and loaded up on bread cause I hardly put a dent in my food The drinks were really good and our waiter was informative and nice! Food: 4 cheese pasta with their in house linguini and chicken 9.5/10 Veal Parmesan 8/10 Braised short rib 8/10 but very fatty Cappuccino 7/10 The bread was extra and not complimentary. It was bread lol not anything fancy. Ambiance was super cute and Tuscany like. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is covered. I'd definitely come back! The birthday girl got a cute cannoli treat as well which was sweet!

Amazing experience at the veranda. Same menu as the trattoria but a great alternative if you don't have a chance to make reservations. Service was awesome. Food delicious. Highly recommend!

Nice little place with a limited menu but it is all cooked fresh. Service was fantastic although the bartender was a bit loud that night. All in all, a good place for Italian food.
