This is a great sandwich shop to hit on the way to Fort Desoto to enjoy at the park or on the beach. Then stop on the way back for dessert was very good and the prices are reasonable. Then do not forget the fries..

We decided to walk over to Phila and have dinner. My husband had the cheesesteak which he loved. It was huge. I had the chopped salad. It was delicious. I don't know how many things are gluten free here. But they usually have a gluten free muffin.

We love this place. Dining in is great and Uber eats delivers. Absolutely the best omelette ever and the cheeseburger was one of the best I've had in a long time. I used to live outside of Philly. I sure do miss the food up there this works for us oh and the fresh cut fries fabulous! I noticed when I went in they have baguette sandwiches ready to go. They looked amazing.

Chose this place solely on the rave reviews of the Philly Cheesesteak. They were empty. We opted to dine in. Service was good and prompt. I ordered the 12" Philly as I wanted leftovers for the beach tomorrow. The portion was huge and plenty of meat to bun ratio. The bun was amazing and fresh. Personally, I wasn't much of a fan of the flavor or lack thereof. The melted American Cheese just kinda threw the sandwich off. My husband got a Cuban and said it was serviceable. I'll note he's had a couple other Cubans from other places this trip that were amazing. The fresh cut fries were the star of our meals. Superb and thick cut. Onion rings were nice and crispy also. I feel like this place might be going through an identity change and not sure where they will land. They are new owners for about a year and as far as the menu I think they have just kept what the previous owners did well. Not sure but my perception. They have a French bakery attached which has some very nicely prepared treats. Mickael, our server and I believe owner, said he makes them and I think that's where his passion really is. We took a chocolate lava cake and Tiramisu Togo. I just don't think I'd go back for the Philly again. Also, they don't honor any 10% coupon Yelp sometimes offers when you check in. He said they are not affiliated with Yelp in any way and are unsure why their stuff is posted at all.

Phila Deli is our absolute Go-To restaurant on Tierra Verde for authentic Philly Cheese Steaks (and...BONUS...the other food on the menu is really good too). Fun here starts with wonderful service - spearheaded by Aspyn and Parker. Both are very personable and customer-centric! They just do a great job of welcoming you in and taking care of you. Phila Deli's Cheesesteak sets itself apart by using the authentic Amorosa Roll shipped straight in from Philly. Their steak and cheese is a generous serving and yet balanced nicely to enjoy both bun and contents. Couldn't do a review without a shout out on the Hand Cut fries - skin on deliciousness abounds! I've enjoyed the Croque Madame and it too is delicious. So come on in, ask for Aspyn or Parker and get ready for a Cheesesteak worthy of Philly right here in Tierra Verde!

Cute cafe and deli nearby the beach. We came here for a late lunch after visiting Shell Key. Two of us had Philly cheese steaks, I had the chicken Philly, and my youngest son had chicken and fries. We ordered a basket of hand cut fries and small sweet potato fries. Service was OK. Always good to support a local business.

Called last minute for a to go order 30 minutes before closing and they were so welcoming. Ordered the Philly cheese steak and it was amazing. It was packed with great flavors, fresh bread, tender juicy steak and was actually cheesy. We will be back! Should have take a picture but it was gone too fast.
