Pedro’s Bar and Grill

Our first visit to Pedro's. Food was very good, Winnie had breakfast and I had the Pork Chop. Both were prepared to perfection from fresh ingredients. Service was great. The sides were very fresh, Winnie had sliced fresh fruit, bananas, strawberries and blueberries. My sides were fresh made chips, green beans and a bowl of chili. All were great.

I've been here for breakfast a couple of times and supper. Amazing food, servers are attentive and quick. You won't be disappointed!! I'm so glad they opened with such a great chef! He has lots of experience and aims to please! Love it!!

The quality of the food and service has dramatically improved over the past few years. They now offer a full breakfast and lunch menu as well as a full bar.

Highlands County is full of country clubs with restaurants that most folks think are members only. Actually, many of them are open to the public and this is one of them.Atmosphere - The restaurant, of course, is in the country club building and parking is a snap. It's a fairly big space with a U-shaped bar seating maybe a dozen with lots of tables. It's bright and airy but the décor is very plain and nothing to write home about.Customer Service - I sat at the bar and my bartender/server greeted me immediately and served me my fist drink. She was also quick to take my order. I asked for the Wi-Fi password and was told she would get back to me. That never happened. Basically, during my meal. I was ignored. Nobody ever checked on me. Once I was finished, she was quick with the check. I was unimpressed.Adult Libations - There is a full bar here but as you can see from my picture it is just the basics. I enjoyed a mid-level IPA in an ice-cold glass at a reasonable price.Food - We're talking a one-page menu of standard American comfort food. I ordered a Club & Fries for $9. It was out quickly and nicely plated as you can see from my picture. The club was excellent. It was nicely built and fresh. I loved it. The fries held a lot of promise but were woefully undercooked. Another minute or ninety seconds in the fryer and this could have been a four-star meal. Sigh!I saw some other meals brought out to other tables and they looked solid. The servers need to get their act together and the fries are an easy fix if the cook has half a brain. I think this place has promise! I'm going with a generous three stars for now and I plan on returning to give them another shot.

I can't comment on the food or service. Under new management. Haven't eaten there since the pandemic. They do have daily drink specials. Looks like they are trying. Menu has changed.

Love this local Bar and Grill right here in our community! Awesome food! Chad and Sherry are the best! Great place to meet friends and neighbors!

We have eaten at this restaurant several times. This is a new owner operator and they are extremely well prepared to give you a great deal and a great price. The food is excellent and the pricing is very fair with wonderful service.
