It was my pleasure to meet both Pedro and Cary when I visited this spotlessly clean, comfortable, air conditioned local West Tampa establishment. My Spanish is not strong but I did my best ordering two Cuban sandwiches, a colada and two guava pastries. Everything is very, very affordable! The colada was incredibly smooth and delicious with a beautiful creamy crema. I saw Pedro make it and he's an expert. I brought it out to the car to share with my wonderful wife and she enjoyed it also! Plus, this large amount of strong and sweet Cuban coffee is only $1.80! It's enough for 5 people but my wife and I polished it off easily. The Cuban sandwiches were tasty and the guava pastries were flaky! What more can you ask for? Finally, when I chatted with Pedro, he offered me a cup of Cuban coffee he had just made for himself and Cary. Pedro is a smiling and friendly gentleman. Please introduce yourself and chat with him!Life is good with Pedro's Cuban coffee!

Pedro And Cary. Not to be confused with that evil corporation (Enron And Cary), the place that sells replacement arm joints (Elbow And Cary), or a cheap motel just outside town (Bedbug And Cary).I'm going to Cary on with my reviews by voting for Pedro. One of these guys may be as short as Napoleon but their products are Dynamite.Just don't try and bring a pool stick in here, because they have a Cue Ban in effect. My notes said: Wonderful cafe with good Flan, but the star was the piping hot perfect Guava pastry that rocked my world, and very delicious scalding coffee too. Good prices, great service. To elaborate: I absolutely love this little unassuming, undiscovered, unexplored place... in fact I love it little bit too much. The people serving are absolutely wonderful, and were super happy to have me here, and super friendly. Of every Cuban place I've ever been to they might be the friendliest, and definitely top 5 along with the Cuban burger place in Miami for example. They're definitely right up there. Not to be confused with my out of town letter-writing friend (Penpal And Cary), my email that won't send (Pending And Cary), my libido (Lead In My Pencil And Cary), and Barbie's fave pampering activity (Pedicure And Cary).I'll definitely be back here absolutely every time I'm in town, and all the products they serve are top-notch and amazing. I would give them five stars for any one of them and all of them combined should get more like 15 stars really. Extra credit to them for being genius enough to sell me on the guava pastry, which I wasn't really looking at, but once they gave me the heads up that they were fresh and hot, I tried one and fell madly in love with it, to the extent that I just bought a ring and I'm going to propose. So now let's propose a toast. I mean propose to our toast. I mean, if we're proposing to guava pastries, we may as well propose to toast as well, right? Seriously. Make sure you come here when you're in town - amazing stuff and it's dirt cheap as well. Plus it was one of the best Cuban coffees I had in my whole time in Florida. Now that you've enjoyed my flow, it's time for me to rida off into the sunset with my coffee and my pastry de Guayaba. Aba nice day, and if you're single, take a chance on me.Not to be confused with a steak place (Welldone And Cary), an overpriced chain selling animal food (Petco And Cary), and the maximum security section at the state pen (Pedo And Cary).

I've liked this place so much that I've visited twice. Their Cuban sandwiches are amazing , as well as the croqueta sandwiches. I mean everything is great. Pedro and the other young lady are great people , they make you feel at home. If you are Cuban and come into Tampa I recommend you visit them!

This review is solely for the Cuban coffee. Their cortadito was actually good, strong enough and not too milky. The flavor of freshly ground Cuban coffee is almost unforgettable and so unique, once you've had the good stuff you can recognize it at the first taste. I asked for a little bit of sugar only but it was still made a bit too sweet for me. The thing that always gets me though is how in Tampa (different than in Miami) the volume of the cortadito is literally double what it should be, more like a cafe con leche size. They require a $5 minimum if you wanna pay with credit card.

Their Cuban coffee is gold in a cup: rich, thick, creamy - almost chocolate-like. Just beautiful. A medium is a little over $1.50. And the guys here are fantastically friendly. I came for coffee but couldn't walk away without a papa relleña. The dark brown ball of fried potato and fatty meat was just the savory snack I needed to soothe my dieting soul.

As someone previously stated, do not come here if you're in a hurry. There is no method to how they take people's orders. I gave this place about 3 chances because it's close to work. Food and coffee is alright. I've had better in this area.

Lady was very rude. I did not get treated like a paying customer. I will NOT come again. Disgrace to Cuban restaurants & Cuban Buisness owners. I Will make sure that my fellow Cubans will know to steer away from this establishment.
