The pancake here is suuuuper fluffy and delicious, if I can recommend one thing here it's definitely that! The omelette was good too, but nothing outstanding. The fruit cup is really good and isn't filled with just melon, I liked that it had some strawberries, grapes, and bananas as well. The service was great and the interior is very cute. It's a nice little diner with pretty good food and decent prices.

A wonderful diner with fantastic service! Myself and some classmates chose this spot because in the early hours in a weekday, you just need a Bloody Mary!!We were sat down right away and accommodations were made for our party which was so helpful! I really feel like we didn't wait long at all for our drinks which was awesome, and the Bloody Mary was spicy and tasty! One simply wasn't enough! I had a sweet tooth this morning and went with the banana and chocolate chip crepes, all I will say is YUM! Everyone else was happy with their mimosas and their meals, overall positive stay and I'm sure we will return!

Went here Friday morning to get breakfast, and ordered to-go. I ordered breakfast and some pies. While standing I look to the back and saw that the cooks WHERE NOT WEARING ANY groves! The cook just wipe his nose and pick up some bacon for someone order! I was like wtf! I ask the waitress about it and she looked shocked! I cancel the order and went running! Sorry I can't take a chance catching something. And it just show me how clean this place is ! Just not for me!

Sheesh! Stopped here this morning for a late breakfast early brunch with my friends. This place has some incredible food at such reasonable prices. I will be back! I ended up getting a ton of food, and it wasn't even $20 for my total bill. If you pay in cash, it is 2% cheaper. Service is amazing! Seated very quickly with a warm smile. Nice locally owned cafe with all the breakfast favorites. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict with home fries which left much to be desired. I did however enjoy the friendly staff who were quick getting orders in and out. I do also love that they have their desserts upfront and have some great selections.

I drive past this establishment on 49th St. on the way to work every day. I noticed that on Saturday and Sunday mornings especially it's busy. They have a large parking lot. The facility is very good size. It would appear they go on long weights on the weekends, but the staff is quite efficient. I made my first visit on a Wednesday morning. I was promptly said it wasn't busy at all around 8:30 in the morning. The service was quick and the food delivery equal that. I ordered biscuits and gravy and a side of hashbrowns with eggs and cheese. All in all the food quality is pretty good. I would definitely come back to sample other items on the menu. It's a decent enough diner with all the old favorites. The bacon is paper thin and the eggs are definitely smaller than ever. I usually have pretty good service, especially if it's early. The restaurant has a lot of maintenance issues that should be addressed.

Poor Service, Mediocre FoodSunday morning was busy at Parkside and we waited about 10 minutes to get a table. I'm sure the busyness contributed to the confused service. But if you can't handle the crowd, slow down the seating or reduce the number of tables. After a long wait at the table, several different servers came by trying to figure out if we had already ordered. Getting an empty plate, some jam, some syrup, coffee refills, a to-go box, etc all took a while. Most of those things should have happened automatically or, at least, offered. The young woman doing the bussing was the only one that seemed to have oomph in her step.The food was a mixed bag. Fine were the pancakes, bacon, eggs and biscuit. Not so good was the ham which seemed like a slice of pressed ham loaf--spongy with little taste. The grits had an OK consistency, but they were bland, bland, bland. Even the addition of lots of salt, pepper and butter didn't help. Those things must be cooked into the grits. The side of French toast never arrived, and I had to have it taken off the eventual check.The property rating should have been 2.5 stars, but I chose to round up. Nothing about breakfast here made me want to return.
