TLDR: Affordable, cute, and diverse market with lots of parking options either in the front lot or lot behind. -Fresh produce, super great prices. Either equal or cheaper than grocery store prices. Also lots of homemade jams (around $7.99 a jar & so many different flavors). Also a GIANT box of bruised/soft tomatoes for $5 or so, perfect for making homemade marinara! They really do have great grocery prices. -Beautiful garden and plant selection! Great prices. I got a highly variegated philodendron ring of fire for $15. Loads of cacti as well, and planters/outdoor decor. -Super nice employees that are always willing to help! -During strawberry season, GET THE STRAWBERRY PASSPORT! It's $10 and gives you 8 offers at Parksdale and the 7 surrounding participating farms. One of the offers is a free item off the Parksdale food menu, so we got their strawberry shortcake with icecream ($7.50 without the passport). The strawberries were fresh, the cake was unfortunately a bit dry. Will be back! We love making a morning out of coming here and getting some fresh produce!

This Must Have Been One of My First Yelp Reviews, so I want to update it big time since I wrote my review over 11 years ago. OMG.Today, We Stopped In to Get the Strawberry Passport. You Get a Passport for $10 and it has 8 local strawberry farms and businesses on them. You Go to Each One and In the Passport, It Tells You What You Get There. This is the Second time here this year. First time was last month and got a strawberry milkshake. This time we got a number 1, strawberry short cake with lots of whipped. Make sure to take Your pic of it and stir it all in bc the shortcake is super dry seriously. But also make sure to take your pic in the strawberry! There's lots of produce here besides strabwerries, and also garden decor and flowers. This is a very cool popular tourist spot. The line looks super long for strawberry short cake and milkshakes but they are very efficient. This is a fun spot in the winter months because it is strawberry season and it's very popular!

Was on my way back from Tampa and figured I'll pass through and see what the hype is about stopped by to check out their famous strawberry milkshake (featured on Food Network!), and let me tell you--it absolutely lives up to the hype! Creamy, perfectly sweet, and packed with fresh strawberry flavor. I wanted to not like it, but I loved it!Beyond the milkshake, the market has a great selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, jams, and plants. The atmosphere is lively, and it's a great spot to grab a quick treat or stock up on fresh goods.

The best strawberry shortcake hands down is in Plant City at Parkesdale Farm Market. It's a destination! The market is stocked full of AMAZING, fresh produce. They have gift boxes you can have shipped for that strawberry lover in your life. I love their strawberry preserves. I usually get the #1 strawberry shortcake with whipped cream. My husband likes to add ice cream to his. Make sure to visit. Yum

We struck gold! We absolutely love the fresh, locally farm-raised produce. The variety is incredible, with options that change seasonally, ensuring we always get the freshest fruits and veggies. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable! This will definitely be our go-to spot for produce from now on! They do have desserts like milkshakes and strawberry shortcakes... They had a long line so must be good! We will try another time!

This place is super cute and not as far from Tampa as I thought it was, really easy drive on a Sunday morning. Had to try the famous strawberry shortcake and it was definitely yummy. The cake gets a little soggy from all the toppings but everything is super fresh tasting. I love the big seating area in the garden, so pretty. Lots of great items in the market, including plants, jams, fruits, veggies and more.

I came here with my husband, my mom & my mother-in-law. This was all of our first time here. We LOVED their strawberry shortcake! They have a huge outdoor area with a lot of picnic tables. Their farm market has so many nice fruits & vegetables, plants (we bought an Aurora Pepper plant!), hot sauces, salsas, jams, etc. We will definitely come back. I really want to try their corn milkshake when it comes back on the menu after strawberry season!

Visited the famous Parkesdale Farm Market in Plant City and it was a fun trip. First there is plenty of parking. The stand for the strawberry shortcake, strawberry milkshake and other yummy strawberry treats was long but the wait is short. The farm stand side had lots of great produce for very reasonable prices. They also had plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the yummy treats.

My family and I went there on a Sunday to try the famous strawberry shortcake . We are not fans of mushy cake so I asked for it to be separated and was told it would be a $1 up charge. I'm not sure where there was a change in price when they are using the same ingredients. The cakes were pre sliced in a to go container and strawberries and whip cream were added in a cup. I can see why it is best to eat the cake with the strawberries because the cake is very dense and dry . The strawberries and whip cream were good. I can tell it is a popular spot because there was always a line . I liked that the market had fresh items as well to purchase. Parking lots were packed but luckily we found parking in the lot beside the market. The decor of the outside sit down area was nice and cozy with the greenery on the top of the sitting area. I am going to stick to getting strawberry shortcake from the festival.
