Papa Willies Bar and Grill

Stopped in for lunch. Wife an excellent Rueben sandwich and I an all American burger. Couldn't ask for more. Everything fresh and hot!

The wings are just ok nothing special and rather small.The blackened catfish was good .The Italian wrap was good.Everyone's fries were overcooked and maybe 8 fries - yesssssss 8 fries normal fries not home fries.The meatloaf was kind of flavorless but the green beans were good. The mashed potatoes and gravy was mediocre at best.The ayce catfish was average. The coleslaw was not good at all.Monica our server was a bit rude a couple of times. She seemed bothered we had questions about the catfish. We had to wait about 45 mins for our meals.There were 7 of us so that could be part of that wait.

I want to like this place. But the service is terrible. After ordering at 6:37. I got my pizza at 7:53. Ice cold. Not tepid. Not warm. Cold. The waitress did warn me it would be 45 minutes for food. But I wound up waiting over an hour twenty for a cold, bad pizza. I did however have some weak, overpriced drinks while I waited. I won't be back. Very poor management.I paid $38 dollars before tip for drinks and a pizza. No itemized bill. Just a total. Rip off central.

First and foremost, it's a dive bar. As long as you know this you will completely enjoy every moment. The cook cares about the bar food he serves. We came in at 10:30pm on a Thursday during karaoke and our expectations were low. Wow were we wrong, it was great. Wings were good. Alfredo was good, chicken tenders were really good. Outstanding for bar food in the middle of Florida!! We aren't here for 5 star service or French Laundry. And it was totally worth the great price, strong drinks and very good service! I highly recommend this dive bar!

Awesome Food! Friendly community very small town vibes with live bands and local people! Service was great as well no complaints at all definitely recommend if in the area.

They have a sign at the door that was recently added. The signed read " this is not a fast food restaurant, we made everything fresh to order " well that's a lie.....me and my GF ordered two 12oz steaks. When the food arrived you right off could smell the meat was not fresh and had a nasty oder, yet the cook and waitress served it anyway. They don't care about their customers or the food they cook and serve. Beware your health is at risk. Plus the waitress we had was missable and not inviting. Go elsewhere this place is a ____hole.

Slowest service I have ever had. After 5 minutes to be seen, 10 minutes to get our drinks, and after almost 40 minutes of not being able to order because the waitress kept leaving without asking if we were ready or giving us a chance to say we were ready. Will not be back.

The food is consistently good here, and the service and attitudes of the wait staff are just as consistently awful. Our final visit was last night, when table service was non-existent and an argument occurred at the bar when they refused to pay their entertainment. There are many great brand-new choices for dining in the area, Papa Willie's needs to clean house if they wish to stay relevant.

We occasionally visit Papa Willie's. The food is decent but the service is hit or miss. On our last visit we had Jessie. She was friendly and on the ball. All our meals (meatloaf dinner, ribs, and peel and eat shrimp) were all good.

Service was very slow to bad! I waited over 30 minutes for the waitress to come for my credit card and finally gave up and trying paying at the receptionist and they were no help as did not have the waitresses number, so just paid cash and left, but will not return!
