Paleo on the Go

The food has always been a bit pricey, but with recent price updates there aren't any meals that are close to reasonable. It used to be that the pricey meals were $25 each and others around the $18 range. Now almost all meals are at $25 and the quality has gone down. On top of that the shipping cost are quite high. There was a time that shipping was free and the meals, though pricey, were doable...partly because they would offer frequent discounts along with free shipping. With this being a thing of the past and quality being inconsistent at best I can't continue to use them. It's such a disappointment. There is such a need for good, ready-made AIP meals for those of us with low energy that could really use some ease in life...without being price gouged.

I'm so grateful to have found this company! I've recently been diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases and had to switch my diet to the autoimmune protocol diet aka AIP. They offer tons of wonderfully delicious AIP food. So far my favorites are the spinach and myshroom lasagna, chicken mojo empanada, beef brisket, mashed Japanese white sweet potatoes, loaded sweet potato soup, the no tomato sauce, and the snickerdoodle cookies. I'm looking forward to trying more in the coming weeks. The quality of their food is well worth the price. Having these meals helps me when I don't have time to cook a whole lunch or dinner. I live in NH. They send the food on dry ice via FedEx. The food is ice cold and frozen solid when I receive it. You can place an order without commitment or subscribe and get a discount. I had one meal have an issue on my first order. The tray was broken. David was very helpful and responsive with assisting me. He offered me a credit on my credit card fir the cost of the meal or a gift card to order more for more than the cost of the item. Bravo!They also offer a $15 offer on your first order if you sign up for email alerts.

Don't waste your time, or your money! The meals are very expensive for what you get. I've had the shepherds pie and the pork with cabbage and apples. Both were bland at best. The packaging it by far the WORST thing about this company. The shepherds pie came in an air sealed plastic bag that you have to boil in hot water for 20mins...after 30 mins the center was still frozen and the outside was molten hot, if I wanted that, I'd eat a hot pocket - at least it would have some flavor. Some of the other food I ordered came in a plastic microwaveable tray, this idea was way more user friendly, but the execution was so far off base it wasn't even playing the right sport in the right stadium! I had to throw away a bunch of it because the cheap plastic trays had broken on the bottoms leaving huge holes and exposing the food to everything it came into contact with. I brought this to the company's attention and they offered me a coupon...umm no, why would I order more overpriced, bland, contaminated food?! And the amount offered wasn't even enough to cover the cost to replace the items I had to through out (thanks to their minimum order requirement and ridiculously overpriced shipping cost). Eventually they refunded my money.

Do NOT order beef chimichuri. I can eat almost anything but had to choke this one down.I have eaten 2 meals so far out of 12 delivered. The salmon was tasty.

The "new and improved" packaging is terrible. The food has become flavorless, but the prices keep soaring! The cookies are now bite-sized and dried out. One serving of soup has skyrocketed to $23, but the packaging is no longer microwaveable. (So much for "On the Go"!!) Extremely inconvenient.

I received my first order from Paleo on the Go and I was very disappointed. So far the soup was awful, the tortillas arrived all broken up in pieces and one of the entrees had a hole in the carton and leaked all over my refrigerator when I was thawing it, so I ended up throwing it away. I'm not sure what to expect from the remaining items in my freezer but I'm not giving it much hope. I tried to complain to the company just about the broken tortillas but so far I haven't received a response. Don't waste your money. This company is a joke.

BEWARE! Overcharge you if you don't check. Terrible Service! Extremely overpriced to start with, then will over charge you. Awful customer service (they intentionally make you overpay!)First order was delayed a week before shipping with no explanation, no compensation. Second order-items that were in stock on ordering were out of stock. Email said no action needed, they were being cooked and would ship when finished. Multiple texts then saying no, I needed to pick two new ones. Fine. I selected two new ones. On reviewing the order they charged full price (not the discount rate for the rest of large order) AND they put in an extra of highest price selection without asking! After bringing this up to customer service they were rude and made excuses. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I ordered this food on the 4th of this month and it never came, they don't answer their phone calls or respond to voicemails. I emailed and they told me to email Route and submit a claim to which I had to download the Route app and make an account to even do that. After submitting a claim they told me that my new order is on its way. I called the past 3 days and left voicemails that were not returned until today. I still haven't received a tracking number and route said that the shipper order was unfulfilled and still hadn't even been sent out. I emailed paleo on the go to call me to which they finally did today. The woman was rude and not taking any responsibility as a business, saying it was ups's fault not theirs. I told her I didn't even want the order anymore since its the 18th and I ordered this the beginning of the month. I asked her to refund my money back and I won't be using their services again and she told me they wouldn't do that and then hung up on me.

Received a $500 POtg gift certificate from my kids. I ordered food and paid $506.95. Never received the food and POTG has not provided any information regarding this order except that they sent it by FedEX.Food was supposed to be delivered on Friday, June 5, 2020, but was never delivered. It is now Tuesday the ninth of June and still not found and no help from POTG.I contacted POTG within an hour of when FedEx claimed to have delivered it. Neither POTG nor FedEx has provided me with any information of where my food is located. Contacted POTG several times by phone and email and received ABSOLUTELY no satisfactory answer.At this point, my Kids have lost $500 and I have lost $6.95.Order at your own RISK!

I keep coming back to this company because their food and customer service are excellent.I eat an AIP diet and having the time and energy to cook can be a challenge at times. Last night I pulled a Homemade Seafood Pot Pie with Tarragon Crust out of the freezer. The pastry and filling were incredible. Then there are the Carob Chunk Cookies which I just discovered! So many amazing products to choose from.Thank you Paleo on the Go for making my life easier and my meals more gourmet and fun while still being healthy!
