Palace Italian Restaurant

Nice Italian restaurant on 98. Typical Italian decor with an open view of the kitchen prep. Ordered garlic knots as an appetizer but unfortunately they were overdone and in serious need of more garlic butter. Ordered a Supreme pizza ( any 5 toppings) with beef,onion,tomato,bacon, and sausage. The final product was loaded and cooked perfect. Our server was Amy, who checked on us regularly and took care of anything we asked for with a smile. Prices were very reasonable.

The second time I've come here and ordered the exact same pasta because it was so good the first time. Amazing staff, good vibes, and an array of delicious dishes. I got fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and it's so flavorful. I eat all the shrimp and have some pasta leftover which reheats so well. This time I got tiramisu to go (because late night cravings) and OMG! The portion and taste are so much! I shared a carafe of Pinot Grigio with my friend and it was perfect. My new favorite Italian restaurant!

This was my second time back to the Palace and it didn't disappoint. The seating area has sound panels on the ceiling so it doesn't echo around. So it helps to have a conversation with your table mates without feeling like you're having to scream. The walls are painted in a tilting atmosphere to mark you feel like you're transported yourself away from the Lakeland area. When you're seated they quickly take your drink order, and their bottle house wine is reasonably priced so I recommend going for that. After they take your drink order they bring out bread and this dried tomato dipping sauce which is just amazing. I can't do heavy tomato sauce but this I could eat the whole thing! My friend ordered fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp added and I got lobster ravioli. Both turns food came out HOT and fresh, but we noticed seasoning was a little different each time we went so keep that in mind when coming here. If you don't have time for a sit down you can walk right in to the right where you can order to do and take your food home. Definitely will be making this place a regular stop for us!

Good service and ambiance. Red sauce a bit too acidic for me. Always a safe place to grab a bite.

We have been coming to N end of Lakeland for about 7 years and finally have a favorite restaurant! Each time we have come it has been better and better. Great place for an excellent bowl of pasta, a glass of wine at a good price, and friendly attentive service. Tonight we came in to grab a drink and place a pizza order to go and we were treated like family. Got 2 pizzas and garlic knots and they were excellent and we are from Chicago-the land of great pizza. Huge 18" pizza for $20 ish depending on toppings is a great value and so delicious. The supreme is 23 I think and you get 5 ingredients...such a good deal. Among all the chains and mediocre food around here this is a true gem! We have tried most of the pizza around here and this is the best!

Unfortunately, being it's real Italian my self. I expected exactly the best when a restaurant is stating that it's owned by Italian family I expect the flavors to be genuinely Italian and not some make believe jokes!This is what happened to me and my family when we visit this place, guided by some reviews that I definitely think we're not written by real Italians. I ordered the eggplant rollatini, my husband ordered a pepperoni pizza with no cheese and my son ordered the chicken parmigiana. I asked to please opt out the pasta, the lady said that it would come with pasta and it would have been the same price without. First of all, I never asked for price reduction, that is the last thing on my mind when I order food, if I go to a restaurant I expect flavors, taste, goodness and deliciousness. That is what I am looking for! Not the price! If I would have looked at prices I would have gone to an action place! Anyhow, my husband likes his pizza with no cheese, ( I know he's out of this world! An Italian that doesn't like cheese, except Parmigiano Reggiano, that, he loves it! Go figure!), again withe price story of been the same price. We told her that was fine!Let me tell my friends, never ever again We will place foot in that restaurant!The eggplant came out cold stone inside, not to mention that the real eggplant rollatini are made with ham and cheese inside and accompanied with just a little sauce to show the beauty of those eggplant. My husband pizza came out dry and my son's chicken parmigiana was drowned in tomato sauce!But that wasn't the real problem, nope, it wasn't! The problem was that the eggplant was a bit pungent, I didn't really pay attention to it , but I should have, because as soon as I got home I paid the price! My son told me that the chicken tasted as if it was washed in a dishwasher! Well, we tried to tell the server, but all she said was that everything was made fresh to order. Yeah, probably fresh to order in the beginning of the month! And to put the cherry to the cake, the ambiance was more the one of a Spanish restaurant than an Italian restaurant. To be clear I don't have anything against Spanish restaurants per se, it's just that this is not a Spanish restaurant. To make the story short, we will never put foot again inside that " Italian family owned restaurant " . I cannot recommend a restaurant that does not serve real fresh Italian food! It's shameful to do that for me that I AM a REAL Italian! This restaurant is DEAD to us!

Love this place! the restaurant was so cute. the people were so nice and friendly. the food was delicious and came in a big portion. definitely will visit again.

I recently ordered a large $23 pizza from Palace Pizza because I had heard my cousin raving about it on Facebook and let me just say I was highly disappointed. I called the restaurant and told them how disappointed I was. They offered me nothing. Just told me I was wrong about how I felt about the quality of my pizza. Needless to say I won't be ordering again from them. They should be open to criticism and offer remuneration to unsatisfied customers.

I go to this location and the one in downtown to order a pepperoni mushroom pizza. The one downtown always comes out completely perfect unfortunately it's a little inconvenient for me to go to that one versus the one on Highway 98. All the ingredients for the pizza are super delicious but they do not know how to make a pizza every time you pick it up. It's like soupy in the middle And even after I've told them several times they still can't get it right it's so frustrating and I will not be going back there. I recommend if you're going to Palace Pizza only go to one in downtown in Lakeland.
