Tried Otsuka ramen last night. Great experience. Cozy little place in the corner of a strip mall off dale mabry and Lambright. Service was excellent our server was so funny and timely. Decided on the Otsuka miso hot ramen, was delicious. Portions were really good and flavor was great. Everything was to the right temperature and served hot! Ramen came out from the kitchen very fast. I opted for medium spice, but could have done hot. If you are spice adverse I would recommend mild or medium. I added more chili oil to mine! The meats were cooked good. I throughly enjoyed it. Stop by there for some delicious ramen!!

Otsuka Ramen is a hidden gem in Tampa that every ramen lover needs to visit. The cozy and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The ramen here is simply outstanding. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect texture. My personal favorite is the Tonkotsu Ramen--it's creamy, savory, and absolutely delicious.Overall, Otsuka Ramen delivers an authentic and satisfying ramen experience that stands out in Tampa's dining scene. Highly recommended for any ramen lovers

This place was great. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was calm. The food came out in a good time which was nice. All of the food was packed with flavor and the presentation was eye pleasing. If you're looking for a good place to eat ramen I recommend this place to everyone. They even have vegetarian friendly options.

I've visited this place multiple times, and it never disappoints. They offer a diverse selection of ramen, including a veggie broth option for those who prefer non-pork choices. The fries are a must-try--crispy and flavorful. I always enjoy coming here and highly recommend it, 10/10.

I first tried this Tampa Bay ramen spot over three years ago when there was way less ramen options in the area. Since then, they have only improved in taste, atmosphere, and hospitality. The shop is super cozy, mostly booths, with some of my favorite Youtubers on the TVs (including Rambalac). Not many people know that Kyoto and Otsuka ramen, both on Dale Mabry, have the same owner. Once you try both, it's easy to notice, even though the menu is slightly different. Since most people in Florida are ramen critics, that's all I'll say about that.Japan has many different types of ramen, depending on region and seasonal ingredients. Definitely recommend trying as many different kinds as possible before forming a strong opinion. They also have a Valrico, FL location now.

This used to be our go to place for ramen noodles . After having lunch here I am not sure what to think . Service was quick and friendly . For appetizers we had edamame and Gyoza, these dishes were fresh and delicious. As for ramen , we ordered the wagyu ramen , it was lacking taste and very heavy on all other ingredients besides meat . The Garlic lover was just okay - had 1 thin piece of pork and heavy on hard and chewy bamboo. Aside from the sub par food , it felt like the same temperature outside in the restaurant. Not only was the AC not working properly . The workers had some type of classic rock punk / indie music blasting . We could not hear each other speak and I had a headache so asked if they could turn the music down. It was just not a good combination of heat and eating hot ramen noodles . I'm not sure if this is under new management but too many changes from our past go to ramen restaurant.

Cool ambience, great service and very fast. My issue is the ramen was very unflavorful. I've had plenty of ramen and although the price is good the quality does not add up. I had the tonkatsu shoyu and the calamari. I added a lot more salt which helped, but the broth and meat were unseasoned and the noodles felt like the 35¢ Moruchan or whatever it's called lol. The calamari wasn't bad per se but it was chewier than an Italian restaurant and the sauce was this syrupy sugary generic kind that I've had a million times and don't mess with
