I tried this place a few years ago I remember liking it however, this time around not so much. I'm probably a harsh critic being that I'm Puerto Rican, and this is a Puerto Rican food truck. What I ordered:I came specifically for the empanadas de pizza and ended up getting an alcapurria and passion fruit juice as well. The empanada was ok nothing special. It was pretty big and somewhat salty. The alcapurria was also salty and had a strong oil taste and weird texture. Not like like the normal crispy outer layer it normally has. They did offer a homemade hot sauce which definitely helped offset some of the other flavors I mentioned. The passion fruit juice tasted very authentic but way too sweet however once the ice melted it made a bit more drinkable. Prices are good portions age great and they even offer lunch specials. They also have flan and tres leche for your sweet tooth!

3.5 stars food truck. This is Puerto Rican food served here. They have mofongo, tostones o papitas. They have good wide selection. This food truck is kind of tuck away from the road. If miss the entrance, you may have to U turn. We were here first time to buy a bowl of Carrucho. The marinated conch. It is big pieces. But we feel that taste like chicken. Not sure is the best since we are not best judge of the Puerto Rican cuisine. When come to second visit, we got the pulpo. It is the octopus. This one is much better. It does come in good chop amount of the octopus. The marinated sauce accompanying well with octopus. Great small dish with wine at home with football games. Overall is good. Definitely will go for the pulpo. Food here is a bit pricey for food truck.

This food truck located at south of Water Avenue between Armenia and Habana. Since we already had dinner, we stopped by here for a small snack. We decided to get a bowl of carrucho which is a conch salad . After we got home, I tasted a piece of it. It was nothing like the Conch I knew before. It tasted like chicken. Anyway, I Googled on computer about Puerto Rican conch salad and I thought this truck may sell the imitation conch meat instead of real conch. Just like some bars sell lobster roll but not the real lobster meat instead of using imitation lobster. I felt dangerous to swallow the unknown fake meat. I would rather they give me small pieces of real conch instead of bunches of counterfeit.

They used to be good, idk what happen to them. When the owner is not there you get the worst of it, when the owner is there and he makes your food comes out good, for example the other day i order mofongo the owner was not there, i got it with meat the mofongo was straight up plantain, didnt even taste no garlic, when the owner is there he puts garlic and that seasoning they use for the mofongo. My sister order a type of pork chop they got there, omg it was so salty she didnt eat it, i told her not to eat it, i taste it and i wanted to puke. Only order when the owner is there if you want your food to come out good, and i don't recommend that pork chop they got. Dont do it. Tooooo salty

First it took way too long for the food. I asked three meat plantain sandwich there was no three meat and it had no flavor and hardly no meat. I asked for an order of roast pork, it was dry and had a after taste. The half chicken was ok. Lastly I did like the alcapurria. This was my first and last visit.
