Came by for lunch at 11 on Tuesday. The parking lot is jammed but few customers in restaurant. While waiting for lunch gentleman brought in potato that was cold from to go order and left it on the counter. Another customer had cold potatoes also, they offered to fix but customers said they would eat them anyway. I think they were regulars. Asked about the stuffed crab I ordered and said they would use other fryer. The woman brought it out so I could check it, said it was a bit crispy and would refund my money, it was fine and I was on my way. I really liked the crab, lots of crab and good flavor. My half American Cuban was also good. Found prices to be a bit high $14.90 for crab 1/2 Cuban and drink. Not an everyday lunch price.Found it interesting they pressed them in foil And paper. The crab and potatoes are made at the other location and brought here to fry. I know they were having issue with one fryer but were trying to make it right with customers, give them credit for that. Overall a tasty lunch.

A local icon in the area. Very casual and no frills. They have the typical local favorites like Cubans, black beans and rice, and devil crab roll. Service is adequate and when it's not busy they'll bring it to you. They also have a walk up window. If you come during lunch time you might wait a bit.

2.5 stars. We were served bland food, which did not complement our lackluster experience w/ the cashier. This is a small establishment that boasts of its DEVILED CRAB, which my lunch mate REALLY ENJOYED. Sandwiches are made w/ Tampa's La Segunda's Cuban bread. Four Cuban varieties are available: Traditional, American, Honey & Spicy. Prices range from $6.25 for a half sandwich & $8.49 for a whole. Open 10 AM to 6 PM every day but Sunday, breakfast is served from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. The restaurant's full menu is NOT extensive. There's one dessert available-- guava pastry @ $2.99 (made daily). Some popular menu items are the Deviled Crab ($2.50 to $4.99) & Potato Ball ($2.75). The Potato Ball is made w/ beef & pork. The Deviled Crab is made w/ fresh blue crab & no fillers-- snuggled inside homemade bread crumbs. Another patron favorite is the Half Sub w/ Deviled Crab or Potato Ball w/ a beverage @ $8.50. There's also a Cash 'N Carry Special of a Half sandwich, side, & medium drink for $8.99 (or $10.99 for a full sandwich). I noticed a few other offerings on the limited menu: Fried Shrimp w/ Fries, Shipwreck Fried Potatoes, The Port Salad, Spanish Bean Soup, & Cafe Con Leche. I may have omitted some. Patrons order @ the counter, but the food is brought to the table on royal blue cafeteria-style trays. The menu is posted along the wall near the register. Our dark-haired female cashier on a Saturday couldn't muster a genuine smile or greeting-- she was robotic like, yet w/ an air of unfriendliness. We didn't feel welcome. She's a management issue who needs addressing. We ordered two half sandwiches (the spicy & regular Cubans), & a side of black beans w/ onions, w/ added white rice & roasted pork-- see pic. Both Cubans LACKED FLAVOR-- see pic. The beans & rice were BLAND-- worst I've eaten (& I've tried many over the years). Even the small amount of roasted pork I was given (see pic) lacked flavor. If not for the onions providing some flavor, I would have tossed the entire bowl. And no yellow rice? This is the first Cuban restaurant I've patronized that didn't offer it at least as an option. The dining room appeared clean. There was plenty of available parking in the strip mall lot. Catering is available as well as a food truck. Party-planning prices can be found on the on-line menu. Will I return? Nope. Food is the foundation of a restaurant, & this foundation was weak. How anyone can make & serve an unfavorable Cuban or black beans & rice dish is beyond me. There are just too many quality Cuban establishments in the Greater Tampa Bay Area to enjoy. I may be a gringa, but I'm a gringa who loves & appreciates Cuban food when it's done well.

Amazing food. You know the Cubans are authentic when you see the plaque on the wall saying their bread is sourced from La Segundo. I tried the deviled crab...it's the BEST I've had since the old Seabreeze restaurant closed years ago. I will definitely be back!!

Went here with family on a whim. The prices are fair and the place was small but clean. I got a medium sized cuban which was very filling and 3 deviled crabs. The cuban was good, better than some I've had. The deviled crabs were amazing, I wish they were bigger but I would gladly just buy more to compensate. The hot sauce provided compliments the taste well. It was very meaty, no fillers. The staff was polite and everything was made to order so there was a small wait.

I really want to love this little place, the price is right, the cashier is a doll but the portions are so hit or miss. Last time I went, I got a Traditional Cuban with house sauce (Mayo/mustard mix) and it was piled high with pulled pork, ham etc. Went back today, and it has barely any pulled pork on it. So so disappointed :( The one constant is the potato balls, they are always amazing- so that's a bonus. If you're going, get one more than you think you should. And then eat it the next day for breakfast (you're welcome). With the competition in the area for an excellent Cuban sandwich, you've got to be on target with yours to keep people coming back! I'll probably go back again to make sure it want an off day, again I really want to like this place!

We went back today because my husband wanted to try them. I did get the American Cuban this time and my husband got the traditional Cuban and deviled crab. My sandwich was super bland, and my husband says his was also bad. I tasted his deviled crab and it tasted like bad fish to me. I drown my sandwich in hot sauce to get the taste out of my mouth. I really wanted to give them the benefit of trying them again, but this was the deciding factor for me. We won't be back. There are a few other places in Plant City where you can get a good Cuban.

The ambiance was minimal but don't let that fool toy because their cubans are really good. Their house of of mustard and mayo was suggested by the order taker...so we took it and we got it pressed. The potato balls are the BOMB. and the crab balls are pure crab...can cakes don't even have this much crabmeat in them. Perfection and it was quick after we ordered. Id definitely go back

Poor service, poor experience, will not go back! Counter help very rude and unprofessional. Purchased two deviled crabs with cocktail sauce. Before I left the counter asked the attendant to make sure that sauce was inside. He assured me it was but when I got back at the car and checked the bag it was missing. Went back inside waited again in line again and told him that the cocktail sauce had not been put in the bag. He gave me the cocktail sauce and asked for my credit card and charged me an additional 54 cents as though it was a new order.
