Ole' Tampa Cubans Lakeland

Food was amazing! Authentic Cubans and black beans with Rice tasted delicious ! 10/10

I visited Ole Tampa Cubans last weekend for lunch and tried the Traditional Cuban and Devil Crab. Even though the Cuban had soft and flakey toasted bread, flavorful ham, Swiss cheese and tangy pickle, the roast pork (which in my opinion is the most important part of a Cuban) was very skimpy and only covered about 1/3 of the sandwich. The pork that was in there was not very flavorful and dry. The Devil Crab was nicely crisp on the outside and had a pleasant spice aroma when cut open but the inside was very mushy and mostly consisted of filling rather than shredded crab. I could not taste any crab meat even though I could see it. On top of those disappointments, I was also charged for a cup of water. Not a bottle but what you would get from the fountain machine. Overall, the food I tried has promise but has glaring issues and it feels like the restaurant is cutting corners at the cost of the quality of their food.

Best Cuban's and devil crabs in Lakeland. You really need to check this place out. Huge sandwich for the money. It's a meal. The owner really keeps the place clean and the food is fresh. I love coming here and will stop every time I'm in Lakeland.

I ordered 4 Cuban sandwiches to go several days ago and was super excited to try them out for the first time. My friends and I were thrilled until we opened them and noticed that this was more of a ham sandwich not traditional ham and pork. There were few shredded strips of pork and barely noticeable. Overall the ham sandwich was good and large but that was the downfall without any pork. I would love to give them a shot again but there has to be more pork added.

Great Cuban and the potatoes were awesome! The sweet tea was fresh and made perfectly as well. Totally recommend you try this place.

Great staff. Great service and delicious food. Love the port salad but our favorite is the hot Cuban traditional sandwich along with hot black beans and seasoned white rice with onions

The spicy Cuban with extra sauce is very good. The shipwreck fries are also a nice addition to any sandwich. This is our go to Cuban spot when we want a fresh pressed Cubano while also supporting a local business.

Hands down one of the best Cubans we've had locally. It tasted delicious! Another bonus is that even though our sandwiches were hot and pressed, the bread was still soft enough to enjoy without destroying the roof of our mouths or leaving us with a pile of crumbles everywhere. We also tried the fried potato balls and they were scrumptious. Next time we want to try the pork salad and other variations of the Cuban!

The absolute best Cuban sandwiches around! I will drive out of my way and pass many Cuban sandwich stores to get to this place for my order! If you haven't tried their Cubans, you don't know what you're missing!
