Dined in and taken out. Good service, delicious and freshly prepared food. Nice atmosphere, suitable for date, special occasion or girls night out. Has outside porch in back.I had spinach pie in a flaky crust, lamb meatballs, pasta carbonara, bread with olive oil dip, side salad. Liked everything. My friends had pasta fagioli the said was good. Nice list of appetizers. Calamari lightly dusted and fried, served with garlic based sauce on side, and lemon to squeeze.Highly recommend.

Located at 3534 Adrian Avenue in Largo, just off Walsingham Road, Oda e Miqve is a newly opened Albanian restaurant that debuted this past Tuesday. I visited on Saturday around 1:30 pm and found myself the only guest, which offered a quiet opportunity to take in the ambiance. The restaurant is small but charming, adorned with Albanian cultural decor and accompanied by what I believe was traditional Albanian music. For those unfamiliar, Albania is a country in Southeast Europe, situated in the Balkans along the Adriatic Sea, just north of Greece.Being new to Albanian cuisine, I appreciated the server's thoughtful explanation of the menu, especially the Traditional Casseroles. He shared that everything is made fresh in-house, which immediately heightened my anticipation. After reviewing the menu, I decided on the Tavë dheu, Albania's national dish, made with meat and ricotta cheese, priced at $18. To accompany the meal, I ordered a Stella Artois draft for $4, although I was hoping for an authentic Albanian beer--a missed opportunity for an even more immersive experience. The meal began with a side salad featuring a homemade balsamic dressing. An unexpected addition to the salad was grapes, which added a subtle sweetness that I surprisingly enjoyed. The Tavë dheu arrived in a traditional clay crock casserole dish, paired with a side of bread. This dish featured beef liver and lamb, with a texture somewhat reminiscent of buffalo chicken dip, though with larger pieces of meat. The liver contributed a rich, earthy depth of flavor, while the casserole carried a pleasant level of heat. The bread was perfect for dipping, adding a satisfying balance to the dish.By the time I was wrapping up, a few more parties arrived, and judging by their conversations, they seemed to be fellow Albanians--a testament to the authenticity of the cuisine. On my next visit, I plan to bring friends to try Oda's Sampler Appetizer ($45), a massive platter showcasing all their meats, and I'll be sure to save room for dessert. For those looking to explore a lesser-known cuisine in a welcoming and authentic setting, Oda e Miqve is a delightful introduction to the flavors of Albania.

Delicious!!!! The food was so amazing and fresh. I loved the ambience. So cozy and inviting. The service was above and beyond. Since they are newly opened, they brought us some things to try that we hadn't ordered, which was so nice. We started with the crispy cornbread and the bruschetta. Both were very tasty and I loved the presentation of the bruschetta on a wooden board. I had the salmon piccata for my entree. It was wonderful--lots of capers, which earns extra points for me. My mom had the lamb shank which was a huge portion and beautifully presented, as well as delicious. Other dishes ordered by our party were the pasta carbonara, tortellini with Alfredo and the New York Strip with mashed potatoes. Everything was very good. We finished with a piece of the cheesecake with fresh berries. Yum!

Wonderful Albanian RestaurantAlbanian food has elements of Greek, Italian and Turkish cuisines--plus some wonderful aspects that are solely Albanian. Oda e Miqve, which roughly translates to "Ode to Friends" is a charming restaurant with friendly staff, so the name is appropriate. The restaurant is nicely decorated and feels warm and welcoming.Shortly after ordering, they brought a basket of warm and delicious bread--homemade I was told. It was delicious. I started with "Supe Pule me Oriz", lemon and chicken and rice, like a Greek avgolemono soup. It was a large serving and very good. I moved on to the "Fileto Derri" for my main. It was a huge pork chop covered in a wonderful cream and mushroom sauce with a mix of vegetables on the side. It was very rich, but I managed to finish every bite. My only quibble was that the pork and veggies were just slightly overdone, but not enough to lower my rating. A glass of the house red wine was quite nice.Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. I will happily return to explore more of their menu.

Hidden Gem!! Great food, service and ambience! We had the baked cheese appetizer followed by two lamb dishes and the bolognese tortellini. The bolognese sauce is outstanding and the pasta very tender. The risotto that came with the lamb shank was decadent!
