We just had an amazing dinner of schnitzel at this European influenced restaurant . My wife and I both agreed - best schnitzel we've ever had . It was simply PERFECT ! You've got to try it . We used to come to O' Bistro's when Sharon and Jack owned the restaurant, and when it sold , we didn't return often . That has all changed now . The food is excellent and the bartender makes fabulous drinks . The owners are Ukrainian , so they know European cuisine . But if you only come for the schnitzel... it's a very worthwhile trip . And parking is plentiful and easy ! Highly recommended!!!

I am so confused by the reviews. I'm sad because I love supporting small, local restaurants. But this was pretty disappointing all around. We planned on coming to the Pierogi Bar, but the name outside still says O'Bistro, a self labeled restaurant and martini bar. We figured we'd still try because of the high ratings. By the title out front, it seemed like it would be quality and upscale. But inside the place seemed cheap and unoriginal. They did have a bar area but nothing seemed special or exciting. As we thought we were going to a perogies place, I got potato and farmers cheese perogies. Sadly, if it weren't for the caramelized onions on top (for an extra few bucks), there would have been zero flavor. No vegetables or nutritional value. My friend got the platter and an Old Fashioned and said both were "fine."We got there a little after 6pm and felt odd being easily the youngest guests by at least 10-15 years (and I'm 36!). We ordered relatively quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. But then the waitress came to ask how things tasted before we'd barely had 2 bites. Sadly, the food was bland. She didn't come back to evaluate if we needed refills. We were about halfway done with our meals when the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. Thought it was a little early as we were still very much eating the entrees and hadn't even had time to consider whether I'd have space or evaluate what the options would be. So we declined dessert. But since my glass had been empty for some time, I asked if I could please have a refill. Then she dropped the check while we were slowing down on our entrees. Plates hadn't even been cleared (because we were still eating) and the check was on the table. As soon as we'd finished, she came to clear the plates and asked if the check was ready. No, we were just putting our forks down now. She did bring a refill, but it tasted like lemon chemicals had been added. I had two sips and the roof of my mouth started to tingle. Not worth drinking whatever was in that glass. The place could probably sit 25 tables total and only 2 were taken including ours. A 3rd walked in towards the end of our meal and they were sat immediately behind us, leaving us no space to talk privately. They could have been sat anywhere.Overall, nothing was horrible but nothing was good. Everything just felt weird and uncomfortable and rushed. It's not like they needed to turn the tables quickly. For the food quality, it was expensive. The service was minimal and mediocre. Super disappointed and hope others have a better experience.

Under new ownership as of spring/summer 2022. Most of the menu items remain but have also expanded to an awesome selection of perogies and other Ukrainian dishes. Some of the St Pete regulars may have known the... slightly contentious blonde lady that used to manage (or was involved with the owner). It doesn't look like she's here as I know a couple folks that no longer frequented this establishment on account of issues on that end. The service is always outstanding and friendly, the food fresh and tasty. Victoria (my favorite!) and Jared were my latest servers who were both outstanding, knowledgeable, and efficient. I've also dined at the bar and had fabulous service there. Also, they have Wine Wednesday so there's that!

This is an upscale lunch and dinner restaurant located close to the beaches in St. Pete along Central Avenue. It has a full service bar as well.Five of us went there for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at their service and selection.I ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich with a side of fruit. It took about ten minutes for us to get our orders but everything was very tasty. No one left anything on their plates. The atmosphere is very conducive to casual conversation and the waitstaff always anticipates your needs. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was very meaty and the cheese was both mellow in flavor and abundant in quantity. The chicken cuts were fresh and from the breast with no fat, bone or gristle.I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a tasty and filling lunch or a romantic dinner.

Even amidst a pandemic this business SHINES! I heard they started doing deep dish pizza as takeout became so necessary and so I had to scope this out of myself. It is TRUE. The menu is super abbreviated at this time (considering how big it was before especially) but the addition of pizza is a total game changer. Now I can indulge in a proper martini AND pizza. My 2 favorite things. The deep dish itself is great, its a build you own style, so we love that! I chose to add onions and spinach. They let us do a half and half so that my husband could also add sausage. Overall it was solid. There was about 30 minutes between placing order and receiving pizza. They did give us that heads up. We had plenty of boozy martinis to savor while waiting, and so it wasn't even an issue. I genuinely have so much respect and adoration for O'Bistro. There are zero gimmicks or trends or cool points. It's just simple, timeless, and lovely.

This place was dirty , our silverware was dirty , the lamps are dusty . The food was Luke warm . Took about 30 minutes to make a waffle and eggs . The smell of restaurant was overbearing . I'm 11 weeks pregnant and started to feel nauseous . The server was great , coffee was good . Wouldn't recommend or come back

Never book a party at the restaurant located at 6661, central ave. in st.pete. fl. , formally called, O' Bistro! We had our daughter's baby shower there on August, 6th, 2022. Our server was so accommodating before and during our party. This sweet young lady was trying to provide for 26 guest without any help. The manager (Roman) never came in to check on our party to see how we were doing. He was rude to our server from the very beginning and ended up firing her at the end of the party. She came out of his office and walked through our room sobbing. Our remaining guest were very upset by Romans unprofessional and rude behavior ! Cathy H. August 6th 2022

We hit O' Bistro last Sunday morning after going into downtown St. Pete to vote early. It's not a bad drive from downtown -- just follow Central Ave. to 66th Street. The restaurant is located at the west end of the West Central Shopping Center, a few doors down from Craft Kafe. I want to briefly mention just a few not-so-greats up front so I can end the review with the good stuff. First, the restaurant is dark, in no small measure due to the walls being painted black. Between that and the dated furniture, it may look like you're walking into trouble. Don't let that look turn you away - you're in for a treat if you stay.I should say we came in with brunch in mind, and O' Bistro's brunch menu had plenty of options to satisfy that craving. A proper Sunday Funday brunch really consists of two things: Benedicts and booze. I know, I know, some folks can do without that second one, but I'm including it for the sake of thoroughness. Mel and I each tried one of the benedicts - she got the Crab Cake version, while I got the Smoked Salmon. I daresay mine was better, but here's what both of them did well: the poached eggs. Not sure if this is how all their chefs serve up the eggs for their benedicts, but Sunday's chef got "poached medium" perfect without us even telling our server that was our preference. That's a skill that can't be oversold -- I can't tell you how many times I've been in a breakfast joint and asked for eggs poached medium and they come out runny. I never send them back, but I always note it. Not so at O' Bistro. Also, we each got "O" Gratin Grits as our sides with our benedicts and "O" man! These have to be the creamiest grits we've tried just about anywhere. Couldn't tell you what cheese they're using in their grits, but the end result is spectacular. If you're a grits fan, be sure you give theirs a try!As for the booze, there's plenty to choose from as well. I can vouch for the Bloody Mary - solid if not spectacular, while Mel's Peach Bellini was delightful for all you Prosecco fans out there. Long story short (too late, I know): O' Bistro has it where it counts in terms of brunch. The servers are attentive, the food is quality, and the bar's got plenty to offer. So the interior needs some freshening up -- it's the dining that counts, and on our visit, it did not disappoint.

My father in law was in town so we all met up down here for dinner and to celebrate my husband's birthday a few days early. We were seated and shared an appetizer of humus which was absolutely decadent. Some of the Humus that I've ever had. I'm not sure where they get their bread, but it had the fluffiest, most light and delicious interior, it was addictive. I could have eaten a full loaf myself, and that isn't an exaggeration. For dinner the husband had the meatloaf special, which he said tasted amazing. I had the chicken breast which were absolutely delicious. They were flavored perfectly and cooked just right. Everything was wonderful. Our service was fantastic and attentive, I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she was awesome!
