Ok, so what does a New Yorker know about Chicago Italian beef? I had to go today to find out and dispell this myth. Oops. As a Chicago native I have to admit it, he has a great Italian Beef. The meat and juice are very, very good. The bread is right on, and the jordinaire is super full of flavor and texture. Been missing these for years except for the occasional trip to Portillos, but now I dont need to travel to get the good stuff!! Will try more over time, but the italian beef is worth the trip alone! Update: His Chicago dogs are on point too! Turns out, according to Eric, he imports Vienna Beef dogs, (Sabres for the New York dogs), the bread for the Italian beefs and more to get it all just right! (Might explain why he is a buck or two more expensive than the grocery store!! LOL) Liked his curds as well.. Go, I don't think you will be disappointed!!

Cute little dog cart right before the Holiday Inn. They have a deal for 2 dogs, a drink and chips for $7 and that includes ALL toppings you want! I got chilli cheese on mine and it was spicy Tge owner is a hoot too if you meet him!

This business has been advertising on Facebook a lot and I am from New York and get very excited anytime something from home pops up here in Spring Hill, with that being said..I was not ready for the New York prices. I was very excited at getting a knish, those are a little hard to find here but not impossible. They have a nice set up so seating and umbrellas, that's about the nicest thing I can say. I ordered the 2 hot dog special comes with a drink and chips, This was $7.00. The hot dogs were tiny, the red onions were good. If you are from NYC these hot dogs were the size of papayas hot dogs, but papayas charges you $1 cause that's what they are worth. I asked for a knish and he told me it was $4.00!! Excuse me? I declined, because I can buy frozen knishes in publix 3 for $6.00 making them $2.00 each! No way I'm giving this man $4.00 for a knish! He's buggin. So I spent $7.00 on a small hot dog(gave the other to my hubby) and still left hungry. Probably won't be visiting them again, naming it New York dogs is a clever way to invite us transplants to remember why we left there in the first place, everything is over priced!

Best NY hot dog anywhere in this area of Florida! Bar none. They use Sabrett hot dogs and they hot dog has a 'snap' when you eat it...perfect. Great NY onion sauce, too! I won't eat a hot dog anywhere else. Erik Jr. is amazing too and will serve you up a smile and great conversation while he's serving up your hot dog. The NY Special is amazing: 2 NY Hot Dogs, chips and a drink for $7. BEST NY hot dog with great prices! A must try if you actually want to eat a GOOD dog in this area. Try it out!

Had a craving for a good dog. Found this food truck online and headed out. It was a 5star lunch! Steamed bun, good tasting beef, toppings of my choice, plus he had Canada Dry ginger ale. Like frosting on top of a cake. The price was good as well. Two dogs, chips with a drink $7.00. We will be back soon.
