Novu Bistro Bar

Review is for drinks only but it was excellent!!! The bartender was really nice and we had a great conversation with him and some of the other patrons. Would definitely come back again and enjoy some more drinks and try the food next time too :)

Came here on Sunday night before the outdoor theater. Didn't make a reservation. We were seated right away, they only have outdoor seating and their bathroom is inside the hotel. It's a cool place if a weather is good, if the weather is not good, can sit at a bar. We had a soup to start which was pretty delicious. Had a flat bread pizza and rice with mushroom. Everything was very good. Service was quick and attentive. They had bigger dishes as well but we were not hungry for a more substantial meal.We also had a non alcoholic drink that bartender made and was pretty good. Overall good experience.

We were strolling around DTSP and stopped in here. We have good memories of sitting out on a nice evening and enjoying a nice cocktail here. I think it had a different name and we could actually watch the sun go down before the build went in on the west side that blocked it. I order the Sierra madre. Smokey and delicious. Deb had the Aye chihuahua. Fruity and tasty. Heat on the backend. A super chill spot with great drinks and friendly folks.

Located next door to one of St Pete's historical treasures, the Ponce De Leon Hotel, it is a great place to enjoy cocktails or a meal in true FL casual style. We stopped by for an evening cocktail to experience a bit of history and folk lore up close. The Ponce De Leon was the first high rise (six floors) to set on the waterfront. Folklore has it as one of St Pete's most haunted buildings (if you believe in ghosts).

Fun place w great bartender Jillian! Cool soundtrack. Def get the pizzeta and the bbq pork sliders w hot sauce. Ferraro Cara mino cab was the best red. Crabmeat & avocado was amazing!

Such a cute little spot. Mostly outdoor dining! But wow, it was so TASTY!Had the crabmeat & avocado and beef meatballs for appetizer. She of course liked the crabmeat & avocado and I liked the beef meatballs.She had the linguini fruti de mare and I had the pork chops shown in picture. That pork chop was probably one of the best pork chops I've had in town. Nice char on the outside, juicy and talk about a burst of flavor in your mouth. Couldn't stop eating it.I'm not a huge seafood linguini fan but lets just say, she devoured that dish!

***Rating this based on the outdoor bar experience only.My friends and I stopped here for our last drink of the night for a birthday party. Absolutely fantastic way to end the evening. In my opinion, Jimmy is one of the best bartenders in St Pete. Stellar personality, super attentive and whips up some super fantastic cocktails. He was so nice to us in finding candles for my friend's little birthday treat and we got to sing happy birthday with the bar. Awesome little spot with phenomenal drinks. I'll be back for sure

I was looking for Italian restaurant in the area, and this one appeared. We got disappointed because it's a hotel bar and has some tables in the street. Drinks were ok.Meat balls boring.Goat cheese fritters were delicious.Crab Mac and cheese was good.Steak was delicious, potato has no taste.Ps: don't expect the free pizzeria from the check in.

Great bistro!! Great food!! Great service!! Enjoyed the Paixio da Praia cocktail. Can easily recommend both Pan-seared Branzino and Shrimp Fradiavolo. And the Limoncello cake is light and luscious. Nice to sit on the sidewalk and enjoy some beautiful weather.

The goat cheese fritters are amazing!! Love the bar staff and whole vibe of this place!
