This is my absolute FAVORITE sushi spot in Tampa!I've only been here twice because it is so hard to get a reservation. The place is very small with minimal seating. The fish is SO FRESH! Highly recommended the toro trials. All sushi is paired with its unique soy sauce, really cool!Everyone is always so nice, and management always makes it a point to stop by and say hi.

I think I had really high expectations for the restaurant given its Michelin star but I was kind of underwhelmed. The ambience was amazing 5/5, very modern, upscale, perfect for an intimate date night. They play music but not too loud. The service was also impeccable - we had a party of 8 for a birthday dinner and our waiter made not one mistake right down to the splitting the bill. And overall just very attentive and friendly. The food underwhelmed me. I don't know if I should've just tried different things. We had anticipated going out after for drinks so I wanted something more heavier on my stomach and opted for the ramen. It was good - but I've had much better tasting ramen for sure at non Michelin star restaurants. I also tried some of my friends Karaage - which was decent, no complaints, just tasted exactly like a Wendy's spicy chicken nugget. I just went in with the expectation it was going to be fireworks going off in my mouth.I'm willing to try again and opt for different options!

This was our second time back bc we had such an amazing experience the first time! To start we got an espresso martini & I think it's called the smoked dragon but I don't like mezcal so just took that out bc it still had repo in it and was delicious! If you like spicy margs this is your drink. For a starter we got the tuna carpaccio and it tasted so fresh. One of the priciest apps but the flavors were worth it.For dinner we got 3 sushi rolls: Negi Toro, Kanpachi, Kani.Negi Toro: one of our favs we got this the first time we went and couldn't resist again bc the fatty tuna is so tender and flavorful. Kanpachi: this was my bf's fav out of the 3 we tried. Definitely had more of a tart and crunchy aspect to it with the chives. I'm not a huge onion fan so it wasn't my fav but I did enjoy it!Kani: if you're looking for a simple roll this one's for you.. similar to a California but with some apple for a nice sweet twist to it! For dessert we got the yuzu brioche and while I'm a chocolate lover at heart, these were the perfect balance of sweet and tangy with the lemon custard in the middle and sugar coated outside. Always love the vibe and atmosphere but I have to say their service is top notch. Taylor was our server and she was super helpful with recommending us more things to try. You can tell they really embody teamwork there bc as soon as we were finished with something it would be cleared from our table, no matter who was around. Only complaint is parking but that's not their fault. We were able to park in the garage across the street from them for $5 instead of the $30 being told to us on a busy Saturday night downtown at the gate once we said we were going to Noble Rice.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Tampa, easily one of my favorites anywhere. The sushi rolls are divine, they each come with their own sauce that pairs perfectly with the flavors of the roll. The kale salad is unbelievable, not something I would normally order but wow the flavors are amazing and I dream about it all the time. I also love the coconut rice with salmon. The service is always top notch, the servers are so well educated on the menu and always make great recommendations.

Wonderful service, ambiance and especially food. All of the fish is so incredibly delicious and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their food so much from the bao buns to the miso salmon to all the sushi. I got the toro flight, scallop, crab, and salmon with GF soy sauce and it was so good! And my yuzu lychee mocktail was the perfect addition.

I had a really great brunch here! Would definitely suggest sizing down on your meal because the serving sizes are pretty large. After the fried green tomatoes with pork belly, I was only able to finish one of my eggs benny. Everything was amazing and the service was great. Hopefully I'll be back to try the mimosa bucket

Came here to celebrate my partners 40th birthday. I am a New York foodie so I try not to judge too harshly. The quality of the food is legitimately GREAT. It's not the type of place that prioritizes aestheticness or trendiness over food that is meh.... Food is perfectly SALTY with a a chef that actually understands the balance of umami, heat, acid, sweetness....etc. I think if you order anything to impress... it would be the Waygu shrimp toast....its amazing. Perfect for 4 people to all get a little square of deliciousness. The bone marrow and the beef tartare were also excellent - i was very pleasantly satisfied. The only thing i would say is that if you are going on a super romantic date ....some of the tables are really close together in the middle of the small restaurant and it might not be "private" or "moody" enough....it was fine for us because again...we were going for a tasting experience with friends ....but sometimes couples dont like being in the middle of the walkway and elbow to elbow with other "two-tops"....the booths are a little more comfy.... And the music isn't too loud which is weirdly important to me cause i hate yelling at dinner. Also, the cocktails were SOLID....like...actually consistent and mixed well. Oh and we went on a Saturday night and were immediately told that many of the tuna rolls were already out...as well as many of the starters ....which is understandable since they order fresh from market...but also annoying when you are celebrating something special and half the menu isn't available on a Saturday night. Like, I wish there was some way to know that before hand because the menu is literally the entire reason you go. Maybe try to go earlier in the week so they are not 86 so many things. Great service.
