Niko's Neighborhood Bar

We stopped in to Nikos one Friday around 530pm a few weeks ago. We have driven by it several times and were finally able to give it a try... the picture of icy martini style drinks displayed in the front window really struck my happy hour alert, and a frosty lemon drop or cosmo were really sounding good. We went inside and were surprised to find the place almost empty, only a couple of other people were there, and only 1 other person was eating. My husband is a beer drinker, but they only had run of the mill selections, no Red Right Return or similar, but he was fine and ordered a beer. I ordered a lemon drop and was expecting a a chilled glass, but sadly the bartender handed me a styrofoam cup. When I asked about the glasses on the pic out front she shrugged and said they only used styrofoam. She also said they didn't really have actual lemon drop ingredients (?) but the drink was ok... We decided to order food and I had a burger and I don't remember what my husband ordered. The food was pretty good, and strictly based on that I would probably give this place a better rating, but overall I can't do any better than 3 stars. The interior is very dark, kinda dreary and quiet... I would love to give them another try if they could make a few changes: improve their drinks and bar ware, train their bartender better in general, and maybe keep some music going to liven the place up.

First time here, what a nice place, Nikos is super nice and a great cook. Clean place, nice patio area, a new find, we will be back.

Newly renovated neighborhood bar. Friendly staff. Good bar food. Specials all week. Live music, DJ and juke box. A lot of games and pool table, outdoor patio area.

We are local and were tentative to patronize this business, but we were pleasantly surprised. The establishment was extremely clean including the restrooms. The bartender "M" was very accommodating and was fun to chat with. They have a kitchen that serves bar food, which we did not partake of, but others around us did and complimented the chef. They have an outside back deck with another outside bar and multiple games to include air hockey, cornhole, a Ping-Pong table and more. Again, the outside area was extremely clean and well maintained. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced. The patrons were all nice and when combined with everything else mentioned made for a great evening out. We will be back! :)

A good place to grab a adult beverage if passing through the area. While it gives the appearance to a supper club it does not have an active kitchen so it's just a bar stop.

Great service, food, cold drinks and games. Misti is the best! I'm so glad we stopped here after tubing down the river.

So fun and great staff and people. Awesome specials throughout the week. Tuesday Tacos are amazing!

Very pleased with are first experience here. The outside is a little deceiving I've driven past this place for months since I moved to citrus springs and went if for the first time on Friday with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The inside is externally clean and the people there were so nice. Sara the bartender was very quick and attentive with drinks and service. They have pool table, TouchTunes and darts on the inside and fire pit, air hockey, corn hole, jumbo Janga and much more on the outside we had a blast the crowd was great and the dj that was outside did an awesome job. The owner was also extreme nice and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.
