For your typical Chinese quick fast take-out type places here in Tampa, New China is the best. I said quick fast take-out. You cannot compare this to Yummy House. Completely different.Every time we order, the food is fresh, hot and tasty. They have the BEST EGGROLLS IN TAMPA. Highly recommended. We give this our highest recommendation. One more thing - I think it's a husband / wife operation, and they are always friendly and smiling.

When I tell you this is the best Chinese food I have had in Florida, let me tell you I've tried A LOT of places, as Chinese is a favorite. New China is leaps and bounds above the rest in flavor! Cooked perfectly, and hot. (Temperature, not spice) Fast, friendly delivery to the hotel room to boot. Had all sauces I asked for, cookies, cutlery and napkins. Every single thing we got was good. I'd like more veggies in the house fried rice-but not complaining about the loaded with meats one I got! Definitely give it a try.we were a6 miles alway and they delivered.

I really wanted to love this place. It was one of the highest rated in the area, and I love Chinese food. We got the beef & broccoli, chicken chow mein, general tso chicken, egg drop and wonton soup. The best item was general tso chicken, and it was alright at best. The order had no issues and was very simple to order take out, so I felt that deserved stars. Overall, I was super disappointed in the taste and quality, hope they improve soon.

The best Chinese takeout in the Egypt-Lake/Leto/Tampa area. Their food is always fresh and I've been eating from here for 2 years. The food never disappoints or has ever tasted off. They don't take forever to cook and their prices are very reasonable. You can order over the phone/online and pick up or have it delivered.

The Szechuan beef tastes like they cooked it in chemicals. The pepper steak had no taste at all. The teriyaki chicken had no flavor, like they put the unseasonal chicken on a grill and called it good. And the hot and sour soup was only hot and not sour. Overall 10/10 would not ever go to again. I've eaten army food that is better.

Since I wrote my first review for New China, nothing has really changed; it's still my only go-to place for Chinese takeout. My orders have been correct, the food delicious, and the owner & staff always welcoming.

One of the absolute best Chinese foods I've had. Every thing was so fresh and delicious. And delivery came fast !!

Good was stale and tasted like it was sitting there all day waiting to reheat it and deliver. Fried rice was terrible, fried wonton soggy not crispy, fried noddles stale! Garbage! We had to throw it away!

Been here 3 times so far. My regular china resturant had closed for some reason so I had to seek out a new place. For the first time I got small egg drop and hot and sour soup. Both was good. Also krab rangoons and mei fun noodles. Also both was good. But nothing that I would go crazy for. Second time I got the hot and sour soup and wasn't like last one. This one was more vinegar tasting and almost ruined it by that sour taste should be mild. This last time I love Mongolian beef and gave that a try. I had seen a picture in someone's comment and looked like they used to make it years ago. Beef and green onions with the seasonings. Was told they don't make with green onions but with vegetables. Decided to give a small order a try. Was not Mongolian beef, maybe it was hunan beef with all the vegetables. Was definitely spicy but not too spicy. But did not care for it. Also wanted to get it with fried rice instead of plain white. He said something about pork fried I said ok. But that wasn't very tasty either. Threw those out. I know it could have been just a miscommunication down the line but was money down the drain for me. Will think twice before going again and will be on the hunt again for a new Chinese place.
