Every year that passes, I find myself trying to make healthier choices. After several close friends and family have gotten ill recently, the importance of high quality, healthy food became paramount.Enter Nature's Food Patch Market and Cafe. Tucked away in Clearwater, this moderately sized grocery store has an incredible variety of healthy and delicious food. The produce is fresh, the bulk bins stocked, and the aisles chock full of just about everything imaginable. It's not a bargain basement or discount grocer; good food does cost money (don't get me started on how we need to adjust how we subsidize foods in this country). But it's hard to put a number on one's health, and what you put in your body is clearly a large part of that.Organic foods abound. Ethnic foods greet you at every corner. Want an interesting cereal, cracker, cookie or noodle you've never tried? Just walk the aisles. There are myriad plant-based options (including an entire freezer or two dedicated to them), although the fresh seafood and organic meat options are also fantastic. The pre-made section has the yummiest choices (blackened tofu sammie? bulgur tabbouleh? pacific rim salmon cooked to perfection?) it makes it almost impossible to choose. The salad bar is about as good as they come, the hot bar is always delish (check their twitter for daily updates), and the juice and sandwich bars are just incredible. I really am running out of adjectives. Once you grab yourself a snack or a full lunch, there's a cute little dining room nestled away for you to relax and enjoy your meal. I really cannot say enough good things about Nature's Food Patch Market and Cafe. Make sure to get yourself a customer card (it's not a credit card to be clear); it gets you discounts the more you shop there. And once you go, it's hard not to go back. To conclude, this is my favorite grocery store, bar none. Thank you for coming to my Ed Talk.

I have come here often for 5 years. I'm done. This place is so overpriced, it's criminal. Living 2 blocks away, it seems easy to come here. I saw some pricing that i thought wasn't right. I checked online for a competitors price. For the same item and brand. It was 1/3 what they charge here. I found several other items, as well. Today was the last time I ever walk into any of your stores. I'm sure nothing will change, but I will celebrate the day that you are no longer around to price gouge people, and claim it's to keep them healthy.

I decided to give the this place another try, and the prices are now absolutely insane. More expensive than Whole Foods and not as good. Yikes.

They have a salad bar. Need more salad after a rather heavy and fried lunch. $33.35 for a large green veggie soup and two build our own salads. The salad bar may have looked better earlier today. The lettuce looked a bit sad and wilted as did the red cabbage. Had to selectively pick my greens, so I wouldn't get any rotten pieces. I picked the mix greens, spinach and Romaine too, carrots, red onions, cabbage, a tiny bit of chick peas and sliced eggs, pepino and pumpkin seeds with balsamic vinaigrette. My husband had spinach, feta, chicken, red onions, Kalamata olives, mushrooms with green goddess dressing. The deli lights went out about 7:30pm. The staff are ready to leave and start their weekends. The produce area looked nicely organized and clean. The chick peas had an odd white coating on it, put mostly of the white coated ones back. Wasn't sure if it was molded or what was on it. I can't say I have ever seen this kind of white coating on them before. My husband put some chicken onto his salad, but it was quite dry.

I love the large selection on the salad bar and the "make your own" concept. It's more than just a salad bar so I never feel I'm missing out.

Went in a few times and they have a pretty good selection of items. I tried the breakfast burrito and it was good! I also got some sort of blueberry cake thing and it was tasty! Everything is a bit pricey but it's yummy.

Love the food and atmosphere.... Just a weird location. Im not sure how to describe it, but i never felt safe coming out of the car with my family unless my husband was with me. Right when you walk in though, the store is a dream come true! The selection is great and satisfied my gluten free needs. Its quite pricey and the rewards points didnt really do much for us. The cafe is incredible though! The food is great and ive never had anything bad.

If this is the only place to get fresh local produce then go. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Otherwise, it was freezing cold throughout the store, the selection of prepared foods is quite limited and there are no fresh baked goods at all, just a few loaves of bread on a shelf. We were far from home and had planned to eat in the "cafe," which turns out to be just a separate area to sit in. My partner did get a decent sandwich from the deli and I got a nice soup from the prepared food section and ate in the dreary "cafe" which was filled with incredibly schlocky art for sale. I suppose there's a decent selection of other standard "natural food" items in the grocery section, but certainly wouldn't be my first choice to go for anything else.

The customer service guy Matt is straight-up so rude. After going through checkout, my seven year old was trying to hand him our bananas to help him bag (after we purchased them) and the guy was so incredibly rude about it- borderline yelling at him to "put them down!" Dude, chill out- we already paid for them- I don't know what this guy's problem is, but this isn't the first time he's been rude to us. And I don't expect everyone to be nice to kids all the time- but this guy came off as so hostile. I think it's really weird how he almost yelled at a child who is happy and trying to help- I'm sorry to say but he gives off really rude, unwelcome, and miserable vibes. Usually I don't like to blatantly say names in reviews or point fingers so much- but honestly all of the other cashiers and managers are always incredibly kind. But that guy is always off-putting- and I've interacted with him several times now.
