Nam's Sushi 54

We love Nam 54! Everything we have gotten has been delicious. Some of our favorites are the beef Lomein and the avocado volcano. The servers are always friendly and we always get great service. My only complaint is they aren't open for lunch on the weekends lol.

Standard menu of classics done well. Not well equipped for food allergies with server knowledge , but overall what you would expect. No surprises here, you'll find the usual miso with the usual ginger salad dressing and a slightly larger option of saki and plum wines. May not be adventurous enough for me is all. Everything here is done just like everyplace else.

I returned. It was an extremely mediocre experience. The rolls I ordered were deeply flawed. The rolls were poorly constructed and lost their structure when picked up, due to the fact that the rice was undercooked and probably a day old. The fish was not fresh. It had a chewy consistency. The plate I was served on was not cleaned properly - I only noticed it after looking at a picture I took, attached. Why was the ginger crunchy? Why does it look like the wasabi was piped? Why was panko sprinkled everywhere? I won't even go into the weird dipping sauce for the appetizers and the sauce all over the tuna. The first time I was here was decent. What the hell happened in two weeks?So very disappointing on so many levels. Did I mention that the customer service here is super weird and cringy? Will not be returning. So happy Lotte Market opened in North Tampa so I can get fresh seafood for my own homemade rolls.

Nam has the sweetest owners and a wonderful, sweet, accommodating server. My niece and I have lunch there most Thursdays. Our favorite..vegetable rolls, not like any other..cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, etc. Outrageous! The Poke Bowls we get, mine with tempura shrimp, avacado and steamed thinly sliced carrot. The Ponzu and spicy mayo plus their own Nam sauce are the best flavors I have ever tasted. This is our favorite restaurant!! I wish I could post a photo because the presentation is beautiful.

Always good sushi here! Small but quaint restaurant. Service is quick too! I favor the rolls over dishes.

Food is good for sure, but last three chances I took on Nam's the one single item I was after was sold out. Duck wings. The disappointment after bragging to the guests I brought with me and the embarrassment have jaded my view and lessened the likelihood of my returning.But, if you're not after the duck wings, Nam's is good food in a quaint little spot.

Best sushi we've had in a very long time! This spot came highly recommended by friends & neighbors. Nothing fancy, no not fancy at all. In a strip plaza it could be easily overlooked. But the sushi was amazing! Very fresh & plenty of selections to choose from. The service was very pleasant. When it took a little longer than expected to receive our rolls, our server brought complementary chips & dip. Oh & that dip!!! What was it? I don't know but it was delicious! Everything was! We'll be headed back soon!

Called in an order for pick up for screaming delight roll, volcano roll and chicken pad Thai. The server on the line was very nice and helpful but the food was just okay. The screaming delight roll was rich and creamy (and too much going on imo) however the volcano roll with baked toppings was incredibly salty (like I had to pick apart the baked things on top because it was inedible) Moreover, you cannot adjust the spice level of the pad thai, it does not come with a lime, and the noodles were mushy. Overall, just okay. Will return to try some more sushi but I will probably stay away from kitchen entrees.

Wow, just amazing food here ! This time we ordered a dragon roll and another along with some Nigiri salmon ,what a difference fresh ingredients make ! The chicken fried rice was perfection and the shrimp wonton soup was also excellent !We all know restaurants that specialize in one type of food and fall short with their other dishes but this place is not one of them so don't let the sushi in the name fool you this place offers so many different , high quality dishes you can feel confident to try anything on the menu ! The owner Nam recommend trying the Lucky Buddah beer from China , it tastes a lot like a blue moon or other whit beer and comes in a cool green bottle, what a nice surprise !
