My good friend Rachel recommended this place. She said they have a good authentic Korean Ja-Jang. She said they have a good black sauce. So, I decided to have a to go order. The black sauce is a garlic, mushroom, and meat in it. Mix well with the egg noodles. Very flavorful. Portion is good. The black sauce is actually a black bean paste base. Very rich in flavor. Price is not cheap. The protein only a small portion chop pork.

Gyodong Noodle is a Korean-Chinese fusion noodle franchise from South Korea. It's currently known as one of the top 5 Korean-Chinese fusion noodle places in Korea. They specialize in dishes like Jampong, a spicy seafood dish originally invented by a Chinese-Japanese chef in Nagasaki, Japan, who used leftover seafood from sushi in noodles. This dish made its way to Korea and became Koreanized, becoming spicier and evolving into the Jampong noodle we have today.Jajangmyun is also one of the most popular comfort foods among Koreans, just like its ancestor Zhajangmien, which is a popular comfort food in Beijing, China. Korean Jajangmyun differs from Chinese Zhajangmien as the sauce is thicker, sweeter, and has more vegetable, meat, and seafood toppings.Gyodong also makes some incredible Koream-Chinese fusion fried pork dishes known as Tangsooyook using chewy brown rice, and they are just as good as the great Korean-Chinese places I've tried in LA's Korea Town or Seoul, Korea.I recommend ordering half and half jajangmyuna and jampong and tangsooyook. You can have 2 most popular Korean-Chinese noodle dishes in Korea in one bowl.

I had a craving for jajangmyeon after watching Strongest Deliveryman, so after looking at places decided to try Gyodong in the Lotte' food court and I would have to agree, the jajangmyeon here is too legit. If you're in the area, give it a try, the shrimp fried rice with jajangmyeon sauce is also pretty tasty!
