Mykonos

Happy to enjoy a delicious Greek dinner in Mykonos in Tarpon Springs. Greek friends recommended this traditional authentic restaurant. We found parking on the street as there wasn't a lot. Mykonos was casual & everyone seemed to know each other. The restaurant was loud, Greek not English was widely spoken. We started by sharing a pikilia appetizer, which is three different spreads with Pita. Included were tarmosalata, tzatziki, & a tieosalata feta spread. We shared a la Youvetsi which is a boneless lamb shank with orzo baked and tomato sauce. Our meals just melted in my mouth. Dinner was exceptional, portions were generous, and our meal was shockingly inexpensive.

Food is really good! Very authentic dishes, the chicken lemon orzo soup was to die for. Service could be a little more pleasant. But based on food and atmosphere, it was wonderful very comfortable as long as you sit sit like on the porch area inside by the windows very nice

I've been to this restaraunt numerous times when visiting in FL. It's always delicious. Can't really go wrong with anything, the menu has a lot of great options. Employees are very friendly and the food was ready quickly. The fried cheese comes on fire, really cool a lot of people were ordering that. Cute restaurant.

Super authentic Greek food that's served with love! Every time I visit Tarpon Springs I have to eat here! Their dishes are shareable or good for left overs!! If you walk by stop in you won't be disappointed!!

After a day of boating, we stopped by our favorite restaurant. This has been our go to stop for the last 20 years that we've lived here in Florida and it never disappoints us. We knew the original owner, and now the second in command she is fabulous! The staff is always attentive and polite. The food is authentic Greek, they haven't changed, or in any way deviated from the original recipes that we've loved and enjoyed. of course we order the mixed appetizer spread plate.My husband ordered the lamb shank, which was deboned serve over orzo. I had spinach pies, delicious crispy, and full of creamy spinach. Greek salads are huge enough for 2 to 3 people. This restaurant has their own parking lot, which is always helpful since parking can be challenging Tarpon Springs.

Our absolute favorite is the grilled calamari, shrimp, and octopus. Not gonna lie I went to Tarpon Springs with the intentions of going to a nearby restaurant but they had a super long wait! So I ended up finding this place thanks to Yelp! After seeing the amazing reviews by my trusted fellow Yelpers for Mykonos I just knew we would be in good hands there too! We walked over as it is on the popular Sponge Docks strip which made for a nice little stroll. Once we got there we waited just a few moments before we were seated in a spacious booth. They brought out a basket of warm bread & butter which we snacked on while we ordered before deciding on starting with the saganaki which is always fun to order! It was so good I was pretty much done eating it by the time I realized I didn't take a pic! We also ordered the spinach pie which was delicious as well. By the time our gigantic gyros came out we were pretty much stuffed and took half of it to go. Which I enjoyed later! The service and the ambiance felts so authentic. I loved the low key vibe and the friendly & attentive servers! Glad I gave this place a try Im already looking forward to next time!

True authentic Greek food. We come to Tarpin Springs once a year at here here at least 3 times! 10/10!

Best spanakopita aka spinach pie in Tarpon ! Each spinach pie is baked fresh when you order and is an individual serving. Not a cut piece from a huge tray like the other restaurants.

This place is authentic fantastic and the only place to eat in tarpon. Been going there since it opened so thankful they bounced back from the two hurricane beatings. OOOOPA! Mykonos Andreas would be proud
