My Mamma's Bar-B-Q & Gourmet Sauces

I found this place while driving to a competitor a few streets over. Due to heavy traffic. I had time to look around at buildings and saw the sign for Mama's bbq. Glad I stopped. I had questions about certain menu items which were graciously answered. I ordered ribs and the lemon glazed pound cake. While waiting I received a sample of the smoked sausage. It was super delectable. I don't usually care for smoked sausage, but this one had me thinking about it even after I left the building. So much so that I turned back around and ordered some to go. It was just the right amount of spicy and juicy. Enjoyed it much more the items I originally purchased.

Nice BBQ restaurant located inside the Riverview Flea Market. I attended an event inside this Flea Market which gave me the opportunity to try some of the offerings from this restaurant. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing along with the Mac n cheese. I will have to go back to try some of their other main dishes though. Why the 4 stars you may ask? I think the restaurant can use some cosmetic upgrading. The Flea Market location is a bit outdated and so is the interior of this restaurant. But that does not take away from the amazing food they provide. But it would be nice to have a facelift so one could have a more enjoyable sit down dining experience. But they are great for take-outs and catering. Yes they offer catering as well.

Place is well hidden in the rear of the flea market so keep your eyes open if you're looking for it! I visited this spot yesterday to finally try their bbq! Not busy whatsoever, so much that when I arrived the owner was playing on his phone at one of the tables until I made my presence known. (Come on buddy you gotta business to run, show enthusiasm) so he did let me try a sample of the "ghetto juice" which wasn't that bad at all just a little too sweet for my taste. Now I ordered the two meat combo for 15 bucks. Not too bad of a price. The sausage 2/10 not that well at all. Taste wasn't there and all I could taste was burnt charcoal. The collard greens I ordered were about a 6/10 they weren't to bad but not the best. Mac and cheese just looked like krafts but surprisingly tasted a lot better than it looked 6/10. Now the thing that saved this plate was the ribs! At first glance they didn't even look that well tbh but when I took a bite I was very surprised! Flavor was there, seasoned perfect, had a good snap too the meat, tender but not too tender! Now that was a damn good rib! 8.5/10 for them! The bbq sauce was about average! Not too sweet not too spicy! I'll leave pictures for you guys to judge for yourself! I'll be honest and say at least give this place a try!

Wow...now this is what bbq should taste like! Everything we tasted was amazing! We had the sausage, ribs and chicken. The sauce was also very good. Super friendly and they make you feel like your family. Will definitely be back!
