Everything about this place is great! Food, service, atmosphere, all were fantastic! We went with friends that have been there many times and said it was great...we loved and will be back again! It has been a long time since I wrote a five star review and well deserved.

Mullet's was an "interesting" eatery. Several of us met there for lunch a couple days ago. It gets 5 stars for creating a "beach-tiki hut-island vacation" kind of vibe. They nailed it. Once inside their compound it truly was like being whisked away on a tropical vacation. But it always comes down to the food itself. Our waitress was great & personable. She received my order for grouper tacos. The tacos arrived & admittedly were very basic. Some small grouper pieces were adorned with some creamy cabbage. Of note though, there were some thin slices of green apple mixed in. Other than the apple pieces, the tacos were sadly very plain. The tacos came with cole slaw which, created a bit of a cabbage overdose, since there was cabbage in the tacos. Mullet's was fun & the vibe was great. The food I had, however, lagged by just a notch.

Went here with my family before a concert. I love the chill vibe and friendly servers. Outdoor seating is great in February. Plenty of tables and covered area. The peel and eat shrimp and grouper bites hit the spot for appetizers. I had the scallops for an entree. They were cooked perfectly but they had a little too much seasoning, making them too salty for me. The pasta dishes were all good and the grouper was my favorite. It's a little thicker than normal grouper but it was my favorite thing out of everything we ordered. Definitely give them a try!

Mullet's in St. Petersburg is THE place for the freshest fish and seafood. By the way, bring your appetite wherever you go there because the portions are generous. The menu invites you to choose your fish, then choose the preparation you'd like. The preparation options are creative and yummy. Two sides are included with the fish dinners. Mullet's has mostly outdoor seating adding to the relaxed ambiance and the authentic Florida vibe. Service is friendly and prompt, and the servers are knowledgeable about the menu and the fish.

So fun... went on a cool evening, sprawling backyard tables and bar. This looks like an old home (or 2? - great food. We ordered the salmon and the grilled shrimp Florida Man style. Fish dip was fantastic. Cold beer in tap, full bar: Love it - will return!

This is a fun place with families, entertainment, and fun food. The Mahi fish spread is a great start with a nice kick. I usually order the peal n eat shrimp Mullet's style, why is heated in a tasty sauce. Messy but delicious. The blackened scallops and the Merman's creamy Cajun pasta were cleaned on their plates.they take reservations and nice parking.

Whenever I'm in FL my go-to dinner almost always has a casual seafood-forward outdoor kinda divey vibe. Except I want the food to be really good.Check, check, and check. The name threw me for a few seconds when it popped up on Yelp but it honestly just made me want to buy a shirt with the name of the restaurant on it. We started with the grouper bites and the wings in their OG sauce. SUPER saucy and definitely worth getting. This is one of their signatures - the wings are smoked first and then fried and sauced. Makes a big difference; if you like wings, get some. We both got grouper tacos as well, and they were fresh, huge and really well filled. A few beers each and we were good to go. Great service, reasonable prices, and a cool vibe - the only thing missing was it being on the water. We'll definitely be back.

Came here for the wings and went back the next week for the wings again! They are so good and my favourite was the Merman sauce. It's a mustard based sauce but has so many other things going on it's hard to decipher the taste exactly. All I can say is it is worth the trip just for those. The second time I came I had the cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly! The spot as a whole has a cool vibe with live music and plenty of shaded outside seating. Theres also a large outdoor bar that is covered too.Service is great and staff is super friendly. Any question we had about an item they could answer in detail. This is now one of my new favourites!

First time here & if you like outdoor seating despite the weather this is the place for you. The cajun seasoning on my fried catfish sandwich was everything. Im not a fan of cole slaw & I wasn't impressed by their fancy name cole slaw that I was charged for & the waitress didn't tell me it was an extra charge. Great cook but need better communication on the extra charges!

I had a relative from up north drop by unannounced last month, and she told me she wanted to eat seafood the entire time she was here. We went to Mullets on her first night. We bother got scallops and shrimp. They served it with rice and a veggie. The rice could have been cooked a bit longer. The broccoli was decent enough. The scallops and shrimp were great, tho. Parking is a bit tricky, so be careful where u leave your car. And they have a huge dining area outside, which would have been nice if it weren't so cold. But they turned on a couple of those tall kerosene heaters, and it became tolerable. Overall, a nice experience.
