Mulberry Ice Cream Company

This place is awesome! Situated right next to the Gem Theater, it boasts an impressive display of ice cream and sherbet. Also, home-made waffle cones! Their ice cream comes from The Ice Cream Club, which is my personal favorite for their Bubble Gum flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I fell in love with a new flavor, Mexican Hot Chocolate, thanks to their recommendation! The store is decorated in a UFO motif and the theme is constant. They've got some cute alien/ice cream murals painted on the walls and even their bathrooms are male/female/alien designated!

When I arrived, I asked the staff if the ice cream was homemade, and they said no; they did not even know where it came from. Then I wanted to know if any of the flavors had corn syrup and was told they all had corn syrup in them. So be careful as this ice cream place is false advertising, as the ice cream is not made at the business or in small batches. The staff is nice, but the ice cream is loaded with sugars and preservatives and not a good choice for me. This company also owns the Frostproof BBQ company. One star for the helpful staff and one star for the ambiance.

We decided to try it here after a few friends told us about it. The ice cream is very good. They have a lot of different flavors easily 20-30 different types. They have an alien theme. The only downside was I don't think the ice cream was made in house.

Just stopped by after dinner in Bartow while visiting relatives. There were tons of flavors. We walked in at the right time, there was no line when we walked in and while we were ordering at least 10 people had come in.We tried a few flavors. My husband got butter pecan, my 7yo got birthday cake and my 5yo got the elephant ear (mostly because she likes elephants... fortunately she likes peanut butter and chocolate chips in vanilla ice cream too.). I got the c is for cookie which is super blue and makes your whole mouth turn blue. It was all delicious. A small was more than enough for me and too much for my kids. I should have had them split one. My husband got a double.

Fist time visiting. Very good ice cream. Well worth the trip. Flavors were outstanding. Flavor choices were plentiful including dairy free and sugar free options. The amount they serve was very generous and plenty. Incredible customer service. Price was reasonable. Will definitely be back.

I can't claim to be an ice cream connoisseur, but of all the places I've had ice cream, this one tops them all!! I ordered a sundae chocolate peanut butter fudge and my husband got sundae half chocolate peanut butter fudge half maple walnut. Oh the flavor!!! Both were awesome!! Lots of different flavors to choose from!! Generous portions and Gluten free cones too! Highly recommend!!!

This place was absolutely amazing! So many different flavors of ice cream, shakes, sundaes and cotton candy burrito! We got there and the line was out the door and but moved fast considering there were only two orders. As they served a customer they had to walk to other side of the place to cash them out. While not a ideal not a deal breaker. Product makes it worth the wait. The two young men working were very professional and friendly! Great job!! Will be back very soon!

This place is unlike any other ice cream shop I've been too! They have crazy cool creations for you to try. Both desserts pictures included 3 scoops of your choice of ice cream with 2 toppings but one was on a bed of crushed waffle pieces and one was wrapped in cotton candy like a burrito. The ice cream was very good and they had a huge selection. Very fun place to take your kids!

The ice cream here is of great variety and well-labeled. They have sugar-free and dairy-free options. The place is cutely muraled in aliens, painted locally. Two energetic teens were working the day we were there. They were hustling for a line out the door. We enjoyed a 2 scoop and a 3 scoop and both of us were charged the same price-$6.79. It was hot and we did not get back in line to figure out why. The sugar-free and dairy-free were as good as the regular. They did have sprinkles and things to add, as well as cones. Their signage outside is not very large and we had a hard time finding them in this very small town. The place has an odd layout with register at the far end of the building, making one person scoop and the other run to ring it up, wasting time. Tables are also not in sight of employees. They were a little young for management skills--in that the kids were taking up lots of space and not corraled by their parents, bumping into older patrons--and one woman was indulging on wayyy many "free" tastes holding the line...and even ate a bowl in line, butted and got more ice cream. We overheard another group order a banana split but they were out of bananas. So I'd call this a mixed review with a lot of potential.

To celebrate being apart of a democracy and getting to vote, my husband and I went to get a banana split at Mulberry Ice Cream Company. Painfully, we find out they have NO bananas. But this was not the end of the story. We didn't get his name, but the blonde haired possibly high school aged lookin worker went to retrieve bananas for us from the nearby gas station. Wow. What a level of service and dedication. And let me tell you, this banana split was NEXT LEVEL. All because of that banana. Thank you Mulberry Ice Cream Company. We love you.
