Excellent! Everything is scratch made. They have a traditional but clever menu. Fine bakery items, coffee, soup, salad, etc.My only complaint is how loud it can be. Waitresses try to talk a little quieter to set the tone. When you came to my table & talked you hurt my ears!

Ok, so this is a long story. We've actually been to Mulberry Cafe twice now. The first time was a fluke. We were headed to Clearwater on Memorial Day and left early so that we could snag some treats from Reasey Donuts in Mulberry. Sadly, we failed to realize they're closed on Mondays (). Since we had skipped coffee at home, we needed to find someplace for breakfast soon. Crossing the railroad tracks in Mulberry (FL) headed west on 60, I looked to the right and saw Mulberry Cafe a block north. Hard braking and a quick right turn, we parked in a shady spot on the street. We walked in the door and felt like Charlie stepping into the Wonka factory. This place is a hidden gem. Small, friendly, family-owned, charming decor, and a menu that will astound you. So many unique and interesting choices! Abe Froman, Sticks and Stones, My Prerogative - just some of the really fun and delicious offerings!I chose the Bourbon French Toast, while Carla enjoyed the Violet Beauregard. Both were HUGE and included plenty of whipped cream (I never said this was a healthy breakfast!). The blueberries were amazing and huge!Their coffee is really good too, and the servers cover each other like a good team should. Cup doesn't sit empty long! That was our first "accidental" visit. It was so memorable! So on Sunday after the July 4th holiday, we decided to go out for breakfast (we were out of toast and bacon, so alternatives had to be found). "Where do you want to go?" "I don't know, where do you want to go?"Almost simultaneously, we both said "Mulberry Cafe." So we rolled out in the 300 for a beautiful morning ride! This time, Carla said she had to test their kitchen skills against her standard scale: Eggs Benedict. They passed with flying colours, she had one of the best Bennies ever. Their poached eggs are done correctly (and she's a stickler for those) and it's real Hollandaise. No skimping on raw materials at Mulberry Cafe! It's all fresh and real flavors. I ordered the Crepes Jolie and their blueberries were terrific. Obviously over-served on the whipped cream again too. The only disappointment was the actual crepes themselves - not as light as I've had (see Marquise in Dunedin for that review) so that was a very minor disappointment. I ordered a side of bacon to accompany all that sugar and was thrilled when it showed up cooked to perfection - almost crispy but not overdone. Large and thick. It's hard to make me happy when it comes to restaurant bacon, but Mulberry Cafe hit it out of the park! And finally, our server. Aaleaih was attentive, down-to-earth, helpful, patient, basically our breakfast co-conspirator! (My apologies for misspelling her name - she told me more than once but I just couldn't get it to stick in my head). If you like great breakfasts, wild and wacky names, unique offerings, a fun and friendly atmosphere, then I guarantee you won't be disappointed at Mulberry Cafe. And If you go, ask for Aaleaih and tell her "that guy from Yelp" sent you. And get the correct spelling of her name for me!

Lots of great flavored tasty food. We recently enjoyed their great gravy and homemade hash breakfasts. The barista seemed to care and have experience making specialty drinks. The 3x I've been there, I have not had "friendly nor fast service" that others talk about. Long convos with regulars impede service to unknowns. Tables are far too crowded together in the room, creating "tight squeeze" ambiance. Aisles get blocked with socializing blocking foot traffic. We waited to be greeted & order because the waitress was busy behind the counter. The desserts weren't the fabulous cakes & pies of yore. The choices were 2 bite cakes or cakepops. We missed the more extravagant choices of the past. I'm not fond of the cutesy names to their items. You have to do too much reading to find what you want. I also prefer smaller portions and smaller prices. Those who eat big will love it here. I would go again and enjoy their food but the 5 star tastes were not matched in service nor ambiance.

I was there with a couple other people for work we went in for lunch for lunch. It was a nice typical cafe with a nice atmosphere very down to Earth. My colleagues ordered sandwiches and I enjoyed it very much I ordered the breakfast which was like a breakfast bowl with potatoes, eggs, sausage and bacon. If in the area I recommend stopping in for a bite.

Our party of 5 went this evening to the Mulberry Cafe in Mulberry FL as today was their first day opening for dinner. Previously it was open for breakfast and lunch only, but now they have a dinner service on Friday and Saturdays from 4:30 to 9:30pm.The food and service was amazing. The portions were larger than expected. The prices were more than reasonable. It would have cost more to make it at home!My salad was amazingly fresh and crisp. My pork chop was delicious and tender and perfectly cooked. My onion rings were perfectly crisp without being overcooked, dried out and oily. The coke slaw was delicious.Others in my party had the chicken tenders, fish fry, meatloaf, fried bologna sandwich and nobody had a complaint about anything they ordered and nobody had a complaint about the service. This is a family run business and deserves the community support. They also have a discount for first responders, service members and veterans.
