Mr Empanada

Empanadas are made to order. The dough is fresh so the taste comes through!Tried the beef and cheese and the crab empanadas. Prefer the beef and cheese - had a delicious authentic/latin flavor.

Came for lunch and finally decided to redeem my e-dough reward for my first Yelp review and was told that they don't do e-dough at this location. I was disappointed so suggestion for the owner is to update this with Yelp going forward. As for the food it was great as usual and served with a fast, friendly smile.

I will definitely be coming back! I was very impressed with my crab empanada... yummy delicious! This little thing was packed to perfection!

Salad is good. Everything is consistent. The small Spanish lady is nice. I go back there often.

Ordered trays of minis for graduation party...was the hit of the afternoon! Cubans, picadillo, Italian sausage and crab, all the classics! Option for serving tray ready to put on the table or foil pans for oven warming. This place has authentic Tampa flavors, nice to know there is a TNC location. From previous visits, enjoy the Italian salad, Spanish bean soup, guava and cheese empanadas are amazing. It's a must try for locals and visitors, delicious!

May I suggest: Their empanadas may be what they are known for, but they do offer much more. Even better is that you can easily create a very tasty and filling meal. For me personally, when I come I get one empanada, one small Italian salad (ALWAYS tossed) and a small soup (I've had both Spanish bean and black bean, and you can't go wrong with either). I recently tried their deviled crab and it was huge and nicely stuffed with crab. I had the black bean soup (delicious) to go with that and a salad. The food is made relatively quickly, however the quality is NOT fast food. I always get a small café con leche (very good and does NOT need any sweetener). This is a great place to go for a hearty, yet quick meal.

Best empanadas !!! What more can I say. My husband and I recently went to a get together for Cinco de Mayo and brought the mini beef and cheese empanada platter - it was the first dish to be devoured.. staff is always friendly and orders are done on time

Excellent food and staff! Restaurant is clean and the staff always has a smile on their faces. Will definitely be going back soon.

I absolutely love Mr empanada. The restaurant is super clean and the staff is super friendly and has great customer service. If you're looking for some yummy food, that's quick. This is definitely the place!
