Never had the opportunity to stop by & let this family show me what they do. Sooo haPpy I finally did!! Food is Bomb. I had my order to go but the service from what I saw was dedicated & it made proud to be a member of the "Growing up in Tampa" society. There was definitely nostalgia from my Ybor City hunger tours in the summer as a kid w/ my mom. Good Goodt Latin food. Take me backkkkkk...or I'm going anyway!

Since moving away from Tampa, Mr. Empanada is one place I genuinely miss. I've been coming to this location for over 15 years. Naturally, it was our first stop while visiting the area for the weekend.My absolute favorites include:--Beef and Cheese empanada - Meaty, cheesy deliciousness right here. It's a step up from their beef empanada. Excellent with hot sauce!--Guava and Cheese empanada - the BEST! I love anything and everything guava, this empanada is amazing! Must try for dessert. --Buffalo Chicken empanada - Great Buffalo flavor, not too spicy. I love how they finely mince the chicken filling. Also great with hot sauce.I wish a location would open in Jacksonville. Can't wait until next time!

I've actually never gone inside. I've Door dashed or gotten to-go. Fantastic! The steak fries are so good, I've broken my diet for them more than once! The empanadas are delicious. The pastry is flaky and delicious. The fillings have all been flavorful and rich. Definitely give them a try!

I wasn't impressed with the filling, good flavor but not very full. I guess I expected it to be the best in every way since that's all they do. The guava was great tho.

This is one of my go to places for lunch! Quick and delicious empanadas :) the employees are always super friendly with great customer service. I've only tried the spinach and artichoke because it's absolutely delicious! Can't forget the hot sauce! They have really been growing their menu lately so I want to try and branch out and try something new on the menu. To be continued !

This place is amazing!!!!! My husband ate here for lunch with a colleague and could not wait to bring me here. He was not wrong we enjoyed a variety of options but the beef a cheese was by far our favorite. This particular location is a family owned location, the pride in ownership was so obvious. Their friendly nature and helpfulness was a joy not to mention you could eat off the floors it was so clean EVERYWHERE.... and they spoke to each other with such respect. We will be back again, I wish there were more places like this establishment ! BRAVO!

Haven't been to a Mr. Empanada in about a year, this is a location I haven't visited but my colleagues were quite familiar with. This place is absolutely clean. Great selection of empanadas at really good prices. Staff was really friendly, this place was absolutely clean and had great vibes all over. Solid recommendation!

I love empanadas and had my go to place in miami but it closed and since then I have been looking for great empanadas. Well found them here. Only tried one the Italian sausage but it was incredible. The dough was so good and crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The filling was Italian sausage in creamy sauce. I ordered the one empanada combo with the salad at the recommendation of the gentleman taking my order. That is one great salad with a wonderful creamy homemade dressing cold cuts lettuce, cheese and green olives. Loved it. My wife had very good Cuban sandwich and guava and cream cheese empanada. They have soups, beans and both traditional (ground beef) and non traditional empanadas like Italian sausage. They also cater si can't wait to get a platter for party.

I always enjoy my visit here. Freshly prepared, good tasting Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, and fries. Friendly service.
