My wife and I visited Molly Goodhead's recently for a quiet dinner, and while the food and service were exceptional, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the conversation behind us by the "assumed" owner/manager with another customer. We were not expecting, nor did we appreciate, a detailed negative political discussion about the new administration. We came to enjoy a peaceful evening out, and the political remarks detracted from what should have been a relaxing time.While we certainly understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions, we believe that a restaurant setting should focus on providing a positive dining experience, free of contentious or divisive topics. While the meal itself was delicious and the waitress was wonderful, we left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.As a result, we've decided not to return, and we will be sure to share our experience with others. We hope the management will consider the impact that such conversations can have on guests who come for a quiet, enjoyable meal.

We often pass through the small community of Ozona and see eateries packed with business. Today we stopped at Molly Goodhead's and glad we did. It is in an old home with seating inside or outside. All the food on tables, as we were being seated, looked delicious making the decision hard. My husband chose the stuffed flounder. It was very tasty and the cream sauce on top was excellent. The portion size looked smaller on the plate, but the plates were large. It was very filling and came with a salad and side. I decided on the French dip with onion rings. The bread was soft, meat seasoned nicely and the a'jus was not too salty. I could not eat the entire sandwich. The waitress was helpful with ordering suggestions and keeping our drinks filled. We will return for another menu item. If you're in the area, you should stop in.

This is my mom's spot with her friends and I've gone twice now. I'm absolutely obsessed with their stuffed mushrooms. It is a must try. The drinks are strong and the food is pretty good. I've had the tacos and the fish tastes fresh always. Ample parking and really cool decor

Love our local restaurants, and this one is a gem!! We sat in the patio area and had some tasty oysters, some yummy alligator bites, and a nice salad to complement our meal. Topped off with a delish pumpkin ale and it was pretty solid Sunday. We've been here before, and we'll be here again. Take it from the locals, this spot won't disappoint

Cute casual restaurant with a seafood based menu. Wish there were more raw options, but was nice. Had dozen Oysters on half shell were. Nice. Also had house breaded clam strips. Very fresh. Steamed clams are done with butter and capers.

Heard really good things about this place, was less than impressed during a Saturday afternoon lunch stop. I had their famous grouper sandwich and it was less than appealing. Six ounce grouper filet completely swamped by an oversized, stale bun. Went with the grilled option and the grouper had no char on either side, little seasoning and barely, barely cooked to temp. Not worth my drive from up north, but might give it another try if in the area.

Really cool area and a nice restaurant but had a few hang ups that made it feel just meh...Went with a French dip sandwich with a side of fries.It was ok but lacked flavor. Ended up asking for some horseradish sauce (highly recommend) that really made the sandwich. We end up sitting outside to eat because it was nice. Big mistake! We got ate alive by the bugs even after we put some bug spray on.If the restaurant sees this please get your outside seating area treated better. Party of 8 and all got chewed up.

Anniversary party at one of our favorite hometown restaurants where my husband orders his favorite grouper platter - along with their epic sweet potato fries and mallow dip from heaven of course!Love my town,local LQ

Went here for lunch on today (Tuesday). Food was tasty, good and hot. The service was terrible. It took 30 minutes before the waitress took our drink order (one iced tea, one water). It took another 10 minutes before we received our drinks. The waitress took our order when she served us our drinks. It took 20 minutes before our food was served. One hour from the time we were seated to have our food brought to us. I had to refill my own tea glass, and get my own to-go box. I understand if the restaurant is busy. But while I was waiting I saw a host of other tables get served within minutes of sitting down. Food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired.
