My fiancé and I visited Mio's after eyeballing their Yelp for a while. If you know DTSP, you know the horrible parking and traffic situation. But if you find an available spot on the road, or in the parking garages- COME HERE!Mio's has fresh Mediterranean food and big portions. The menu is small but offers all of the staples. We enjoyed their hummus, tzatziki, fresh pita bread, chicken & beef gyro platters, baklava, and Turkish red wine. Everything was beautifully plated and well prepared. We didn't even need salt and pepper! The hummus was the highlight of the meal. Thick, flavorful, and served with veggies and pita bread. My second favorite was the chicken gyro platter. The cilantro rice is the cherry on top. We had enough food for plenty of yummy leftovers. And of course, the pistachio baklava was incredible. I love baklava, but I am pretty picky with where I get it. I found theirs to be delicious, crispy, and not overly sweet. The service was also great. Our server was polite, offered recommendations, and was attentive but not overbearing. We sat inside and enjoyed the beautiful decor, fluffy pillows, and traditional music. I highly recommend giving Mio's a shot for some fresh, quality, and delicious Mediterranean food.

Good God their food is good. Not a lot of options on the menu but everything so far has been great. The wife and I visit here about once every other month. The wait staff is quick with your food and you are almost never left waiting for a drink refill. They are also super friendly and you can tell by most of their accents that this place is authentic. It's a nice little eatery, with an emphasis on the word little. I try to call ahead before coming just because of how limited the seating is. So far we have not yet had to wait, mostly due to how quick the service is. If they are full, there is seating outside, but that may not be an option with the Florida weather. You are going to have to walk a bit to get here but it is well worth it.

We eat at Mios way too much! we live across the street and the food is so delicious, the service is always amazing, and it is such a nice balanced, nutritious meal. You leave feeling full but not overstuffed. Fresh flavors and consistent quality! We add extra chicken to the chicken gyro plate for extra protein and love to order additional cucumbers with the tzatziki or hummus to go along the fresh and fluffy pita!Mio's was the first place we ate when we moved to St. Pete and has consistently been a go-to ever since.

Always so tasty! Highly recommend the labnah. Friday night at 7:15 is hard to get a seat. Even with a reservation we had to wait. But this tells you that it's a desired place to eat. It's a small cafe but I love the ambiance. Leaf paintings and Turkish lamps and pillows make the cafe intimate.

Service was good and being that the restaurant has a small menu, food came out very quickly. Ambiance: The inside of the restaurant is very cute and cozy. Food was really good however, portion was really small for what you get.Beef gyro salad $18.95 was very small, slightly bigger than a side salad.Similar to the beef yogurt entree $21.95. The scoop of yogurt was very cold so makes the beef lukewarm.Overall, great place for lunch or small eats/tapas.

I had lunch at Mio's and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the Falafel plate was delightful. It is a small place but very nice and clean. I will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good Mediterranean meal.

Quaint little spot (St Pete location), felt like a local taverna in the middle of the Mediterranean. Perfect ambiance to include beautiful decor and Mediterranean music at a good lower volume, so you may speak to your companions at a normal tone. So refreshing to not have music blasting like it's a club - so nice to have a calm meal We went for lunch today (Saturday, 1:30 p.m. ish) and it was packed! We grabbed a booth by luck. Our server offered phenomenal service - warm, friendly, yet not overbearing. It was perfect. We definitely recommend reservations during weekend peak lunch and dinner hours as it is a small space. We each had the yogurt kebab platter and it was so well-seasoned, fresh, and delicious. We wish we could have their exact recipe for how they cook their rice because it is hands down the best rice I've ever had in my life. Huge portion too! I now have dinner leftovers. We could have shared just one entree and one app and still come out full. We didn't have space for dessert, but they looked SO good we may even just be back for Turkish coffee and dessert one afternoon. Can't wait to go back and take other friends with. It has been so hard to find local restaurants lately that check all the boxes without breaking the bank -- while still maintaining a high level of quality, freshness, and uniqueness. Keep it just like this, Mio's!

4.5*Went for dinner on a Sunday night at 8pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We both thought the food was very tasty and portion sizes generous--so much so that we took leftovers home. The wines from Turkey were pretty good and different. For $13 the portion was maybe 4.5 oz and seemed stingy for the price. Otherwise no complaints and would come back!

What a gem. Love, love this place. Food is outstanding & service is wonderful. Food is made with love and you can tell. I crave the spinach & feta borek. I had never had it until I came here & now I'm hooked. The only downside to this place is that it isn't closer to my home. I can't say enough good things about this place. Give it a try, you can thank me later.
